Yes I read them. I like Judge Parker and the family cartoons. I called to cancel my newspaper last week after they raise the price again. I had to many missed newspapers, sections missing, etc.. The lady I spoke to told me she would not raise the cost of my newspaper if I continued with my subscription. I did and will wait and see if management over rides her promise.

Absolutely, the comic strips are the first thing I read. That is because dh always takes possession of the page to do the crossword puzzle on it. It could take a few days till I can get it back. Always read Peanuts, For Better or Worse, Baby Blues, Zits, Blondie, Non Sequitur, and several others. Does anyone follow Funky Winkerbean? A couple years ago, one of it's characters (Lisa) died as a result of breast cancer. Since then, there has been no running story line, but it seems to be trying to leave an impression of some kind each week that I can't figure out. But it does keep me reading it in the Sunday paper.

Many years ago our newspaper chose to drop the Dick Tracy comic strip right in the middle of a story line. It made my 10 year old daughter so mad that she wrote a letter of complaint to the editor. It didn't help other than to make her feel better for a little while.

What's a newspaper? Just kidding...I no longer subscribe to a hard copy newspaper, but I catch up on Dilbert's doings once a week or so online.

I thought it interesting that I didn't 'read the newspaper' online while we were away for three months, but now we are home and have a *real paper* delivered, I am back to reading it, including the comics.

Dustin caught my eye this morning, as the dad character tells his wife he can still wear his too-tight, ten-year-old, bilious green jacket on St. Patrick's day. (Dustin is a boomerang kid, college grad, but with a string of part time jobs.)

The Argyle Sweater is a single-panel cartoon that sometimes stumps me on first glance -- and sometimes just stumps me. I miss weekly Doonsbury; it only runs on Sundays since the author has undertaken more projects. Bliss somehow reminds me of our own Snidely! (Maybe that explains the title -- looking at the reality of "ignorance is...")

We get two papers because we're between the two main towns here. I read almost all the comics. Doonesbury is only new on the weekend, so I check the classic old strips daily online, Note the little magnifying glass icon in the middle? Click on that and it enlarges the comic for easier reading.

Gotta get the local paper. The missus says that I am just like Earl Pickles. And Jeremy from Zits is a constant delight. I really relate to Red and Rover.
The have been called comics for a long time, yet Prince Valiant, Mary Worth, etc are still on those pages. I never understood how those could be called 'comics'.

We don't get Dear Abby; we get Ask Amy. I always read it, but it seems to be similar topics over and over. "I've been with my wonderful boyfriend for a year and we have a baby now. I love him deeply, but......" Sheesh.

Sadly we don't get a newspaper anymore. I did read the comics in our paper. Word puzzles too. I loved dagwood, nancy, Mary Worth, gasoline alley, And many more..... Never the news as I got too much from the television. Dear Abby and Ann Landers too sometimes a sport story...

Yep, I read those. First I read the comics and then work the SODUKO puzzle. I like Crankshaft, Baby Blues, Garfield, Pickles, and Zits. I also read "Get Fuzzy", but it is not a favorite.

We get one paper daily + Sunday in hardcopy (it's hard to eat breakfast without a paper, it's been a lifetime habit). We also get a second paper hardcopy Sundays only, and I read another paper daily online. For whatever reason, I no longer read the comics, that habit left me as a teenager. I'm not sure why.

Yes, we read the comics before bed every night. Ours have been cut down over the years. :(

There are several places they are available on line. I have yet to find one place that has all my favorites. It is always good to start the day laughing!!

We only buy the Sunday paper so DH can get the TV guide. He's not as computer dependent as I am. Still wants the TV guide even though he only watches one show,The Big Bang Theory, when football season isn't here. I look at the ads and sometimes skim the paper. The quality of the print and the paper is so bad I find it annoying. I do read comics online now and then. DH reads them online daily, has a tab on his browser for them.

Now I have to go check out Zits. LOL

I'm getting bored with Zits -- limited possibilities. I like Dustin better, and I love Pickles. Mutts is a favorite at our house.

I have been subscribed to my local paper weekend edition, which is F/S/S for years, just to get the Weekly TV Guide. Recently I found a daily guide online, so I will be canceling my subscription at the end of my sub date. I can get the local news online. My paper is using such small text now I can't read much of it, and I find the TV Guide lately is not always accurate. Wont be a problem for me to check each day for the guide, and I will save a few dollars.
