What's for dinner Thursday?
Comments (7)Glenda, how did you like the movie? I've heard nothing but good things about Meryl Streep's performance. I had to c/p the Greek slaw. Sounds really good. Georgysmom, I'll have to try the bang-bang shrimp when we use that gift card I forgot we had. It's one of their top sellers, but I always seem to be in the mood for coconut shrimp when we go. Shirley, I almost put limas in my casserole tonight but opted for peas instead. Should've added a little of both maybe. As usual, your dinner sounds yummy!...See MoreWhat's for dinner on Thursday?
Comments (18)I've got a pot of Zuppa Tuscano on the stove..but it's Thursday so breakfast for the crew. Bacon, cinnamon sugar scones and sausage and cheese scrambled eggs. I might put an apple crisp in the oven too.. I've started picking apples..and a few pears. Dug potatoes...weeded the baby green onions.. 2 loads of wash and swept the house.. Yep all after a full day of work..oh and a 5.2 mile bike ride in my bedroom. I still have laundry to fold...but...I can do that after my shower while watching TV....See MoreWhat's for dinner Thursday?
Comments (15)Glenda, sorry you didn't enjoy the food, but I bet the company was a lot of fun. Shirley, happy to say the broccoli cheese soup is delicious and tastes like broccoli cheese soup. Hurrah! Another thing I can eat! Who knows--meat loaf may be next :-) I'm sure yours is delicious! Sue, subs fill me up, too. We always split one and neither one of us would finish our half. Always nice not to have to fix dinner after being gone most of the day. Mary, I love both your dinners, but hate your weather :-) That is really cold! Yes, I ate ONE donut hole. That was enough. Seagrass, I'd never had any Panera Bread soups, but I'm sure loving the tomato and the broccoli cheese. I can even eat the chunks of carrot and broccoli. Very tasty. Glad you know what's for dinner tonight--and it sounds wonderful!...See MoreWhat's for dinner Thursday?
Comments (19)Laura, there is nothing that says you can't do a turkey dinner with all the trimmings another time. Yesterday on the way out the door of school one of the PTA moms said she put a turkey breast in the oven before she came down to the school to do Safety Patrol..she said they were having mashed taters, gravy and green bean casserole too..she said she wanted to "taste" early..lol When she came in for this mornings Patrol..she said it was sooooo good. They only had three slices of meat left and they were going to fight over how to share it ...lol.. Oh so add grits to my dinner.. I hate how bloody dark it is at 5 o'clock...blech.....See Moregadgets
