Comments (13)I can only agree with what y'all are saying. I absolutely love the Farmers Market and buy most of my plants from there - at least the ones I don't start from seed and Tony's place - well - that is just another horticultural treat. My very first introduction to PDN was a private tour as a Master gardener. There were 7 of us on the tour and Tony took us over every inch of the place. I was in HEAVEN. I have been back many times since and never come away empty handed..... Lynne...See MoreWhat's for dinner Thursday?
Comments (7)Glenda, how did you like the movie? I've heard nothing but good things about Meryl Streep's performance. I had to c/p the Greek slaw. Sounds really good. Georgysmom, I'll have to try the bang-bang shrimp when we use that gift card I forgot we had. It's one of their top sellers, but I always seem to be in the mood for coconut shrimp when we go. Shirley, I almost put limas in my casserole tonight but opted for peas instead. Should've added a little of both maybe. As usual, your dinner sounds yummy!...See MoreVA/DC/MD Folks...
Comments (2)Would my laptop be too obtrusive? It's where all my photos are (not just the kitchen, but the moose in the back yard as well!). BTW, Georgetown's (kitchen) porn block has left me faint. And Leopold's was wonderful. And it's a good thing I don't live here, with all the temptations of food and furnishings. Thanks for the tour Homepro01! See you tomorrow, Buehl!...See MoreThursday's Dinner Plans
Comments (18)Deeby....no, my post was about HER, not me! I turn my lights off on Halloween every year but want to treat our immediate neighbors (kids or no kids) with little bags of cute cookies. Annie (not her name), asked me if I was making cookies this year and if she could help. She and I are special friends, but SHE is unique. I typically have limited patience with children. Kathy, what a feast! Sounds wonderful. I haven't had such a meal since I lived (for a short time) in Michigan. Raven, I don't usually like most casseroles but that sounds soooo good! It's on my list for for the weekend. Jewels, can't beat a great grilled burger! We love them, too. Hope your husband feels well, soon....See More- 11 years ago
