How to make snowman?
Comments (12)Jeanne is brilliant!!!! Find a top hat and scarf and go from there. A little white spray paint on the metal stand too. Attach a small branch for arms with mittens. Attach a pair of black boots at the base. If you do decide to go with the plastic pumkins you will have to ask a resale shop to look in the back store room. Hopefully a friend or fam has a couple. Old lamp shades spray painted white might work. I large shade on the bottom with black boots peaking out from the bottom. One medium over that one with mittens glued onto it. It could then have a tapered body instead of round. Then your glass head on top. Dont forget the icey glitter it makes the snow look real. Or hey, make his body with square boxes. Make his body look like ice cubes. If spray painted it will last on the porch. I like to seal cardboard with spray Polyurithane. Susie...See MoreUpdate: Lightbulb Snowman Tutorial

Comments (6)I love your blog!! And we have a lot in common - you know with the grandkids, I have a set of identical twin grandsons and we live in the south. Since the grandkids live within 12 miles of us they always come over to decorate the tree. It looks a little funny when the lights are off but it doesn't matter - I so enjoyed having them help that I don't mind all the extra things they put on it (dolls, teddy bears, trucks, Power Rangers). They are so proud that they are putting something on that belongs to them. I love your bows and especially the snowman card. You are very talented! BTW, would you mind telling me how you were able to get the Playlist on your blog? I have tried but each time it won't accept the URL. Thanks so much, B...See Moresnowman
Comments (13)It's been many years - my "kids" are closer to 50 than 40. I remember my last snowball, though - last year when daughter flew me to AZ, there was no hint of snow in Phoenix, but there was prior to our arrival at Flagstaff en route to the Canyon ... so when we stopped at the motel in Flagstaff, I threw a snowball at her. I'm reading a 700 pp. book (with over 100 pp. of notes) now, called "The Snowball" ... the definitive story of the life of Warren Buffett, a few years ago the richest man in the U.S. (maybe the world). ole joyful ... not looking for more snow...See More- 11 years ago
