I learned about the Morning Glory Stylish sheet from Tessiess, SoCal Inland, 9b, 1272' elev on the Antique's Forum, so thank you Tess! I wish I could also thank the person who developed the style sheet. I think they must be a gardenweb member, determined to give a garden look to the Houzz format.

If anyone figures out what app to install to be able to use stylish on safari will you post it please?

But did the arrow to get back up to the top of the page (from the bottom) go away because of this style? Or did it go away for everyone?

I'm afraid it's gone away as a result of the Morning Glory panels. They replace EVERYTHING that was on the sides of the page on Houzz's layout, including that rather useful little arrow, and 'Related Discussions' (often not very related!), which I can happily live without. I think there may be other stuff that's gone, too, I can't really remember now.

Re the arrow, fortunately on my Chrome Book, I can just whoosh up and down the page with a tiny motion of 2 fingers on touchpad... that may not be the correct technical terminology, but it saves all the usual laborious scrolling; very useful when some of these threads really take off...

Thanks for the safari link. I did find that last night and downloaded it but I can't install it because it asks for an app to open it with. I tried three different apps and none of them would install it. Maybe someone with more computer knowledge than me can figure it out.

I did it! I installed Stylish for Opera. I like the way this looks much better. So much softer and easier on the eyes. Thanks everyone!

Mine has the dark lines on the sides too, buehl, but I can live with that. I don't miss all the nonsense on the sides at all and I never had an up or down arrow with Opera so I'm cool with the scrolling.

I think I also have a wider text box! Great!

Thanks so much for this. I'm using Firefox. Wow, I love the Morning Glory, it is soft and much easier on the eyes. Not so glaring! Yes, wouldn't it be wonderful if "Houzz" would come up something like this, with a wide variety of choices. Okay, I guess I'm getting a little greedy now? lol - again for the tip 'Jasmine'

Just to clarify--did we conclude that this option is not available for IE?

I would love to have more color and some flowers here but I went to Style for Chrome and there was a box that said it could read and change all the data on the sites I visit. That worries me. Houzz, if you are listening, please add more colorful floral background options.

Kate, I have IE, Foxfire, Chrome and Opera. I tried to install Stylish on them all. I could only get it to work for Chrome and Opera. When I downloaded it to Foxfire I couldn't find the Stylish icon anywhere to add it to GW and IE did even let me download it.

Erasmus, I don't think you have to worry about it taking over any other sites. I haven't noticed any thing on any of my other sites at all. I think you have to actually add it yourself if you want it on a site.

Seil, for Firefox you need to restart your computer, did you do that? It installed fine on my Firefox browser.

Hmmm....when I installed it, the icon showed up immediately and I was able to change the background - without restarting Firefox or my computer.

It affects the look of other parts of Houzz, so if you used Houzz before the GW merge, you might be careful! I like the look of it (Morning Glory) while checking out the other parts of Houzz, too, so it's all good for me :)
