I'm not impressed with the layout or presentation either. The whole site looks more commercial than informative and user focused. I though am waiting to see if adjustments and improvements come along. If needed, united protests will do more than individual venting.

Appearance vs substance.

My take is that with the URL unchanged, the available forums are unchanged and finding them works as before (a click at the top), posting a comment is about the same, it's overall about the same.

The fonts and colors are different, the layouts are a bit different. but a different way to do the same thing equates to being "the same thing" to me. I wasn't particularly fond of the former GW appearance anyway. Yes, there are more features to click, but they don't personally interest me and can be ignored.

For those who don't like change or for whom appearance is important, then there's something to like or dislike because it has changed. For others, it's like when your newspaper (remember those) changed its masthead or layouts or fonts, the change soon becomes "normal" and is forgotten.
