My first Gladiolus. I'm so proud!!
Comments (12)I don't grow gladiolas since I can't be bothered digging the bulbs in fall but that combo pic of the Stokesia, yarrow (Coronation Gold?) & glad is a stunning combination of color. The brick walkway makes a lovely textural contrast. Well done you!...See MoreI'm so proud of San Francisco!
Comments (5)Thanks for the link, Steven. I just saw a program on TV about this not long ago (at least I think it was in S.F.) Very interesting. I hope the idea will catch on. You have every reason to be proud of San Francisco. It's beautiful and really has been an example to the rest of the country for earth/people friendly behavior of all kinds. It's one of the few places that I would actually leave my garden to visit. PattiOh...See MoreWow! I'm so proud of
Comments (9)Kudos to your DD. That is an accomplishment. Now she can sit back and relax and enjoy her success. It does sound like she really did a great job. That's a lot of work. Did anyone help with the food and decorations? And I'm shocked that everyone replied. I was just discussing this with some of my girlfriends who were complaining about how difficult it is to finalize wedding plans when so many people (even relatives) just don't RSVP on time....See MoreI went to my 'follow up' and it was cancer :o(
Comments (32)Lucinda, you have misunderstood what Nicki is saying. The doctor said that there were "pre-cancerous" cells there and they needed removed. So she had the procedure done and the cells were removed. Once they were removed, the doctor discovered that the cells had already turned into full blown cancer. I am so so sorry that you have had to go through this. :( PLEASE make sure that you keep up on your follow up checks. I know its easy to cancel them and wait a bit too long to reschedule, after all, its surely not the funnest thing in the world to do. Seeing this post ripped my heart out. Even though things are bad right now, I seriously can't imagine this world without you in it. I really do love you, even if it doesn't seem like I do.
