Gorgeous, sunny day today! I want cold weather and snow though.

I cooked a turkey,gravy and mashed potatoes, dressing, corn.
I know none of you want to hear this, but we had the urge :-)

ellendi~~did you make that bowl? Or get it from someplace, sounds so yum.

We will be having grilled salmon, a rice or other type of grain mix, a steamed veggie and some fresh fruit.

DH ordered a pizza for us. He didn't mention it, so I didn't know until someone rang the bell and I wondered who it might be. I was very tired from putting up Christmas decorations all day and relieved that I didn't have to deal with dinner.

mock chicken pie...made a filling and "gravy" with veggies and chicken,,,did splurge on Pillsbury rolls...boy could you tell it had less salt than the name brands, lol...

Beautiful day here in Ohio. My evening meal was leftover meatloaf and mac/cheese.

Jasdip: I could eat that meal again and it's only been about 10 days away from mine. Yours was in Oct, so you were due.

Yoga, I made it from scratch! My daughter and her boyfriend appreciated it. DH had an omelet instead.

We were out shopping and stopped at Willies, I had the fried shrimp which were very good.

Either both words have an "s" (plural), or neither does (singular). Using the singular would be odd but possible, same as in English.

The pronunciation of each word is the same whether plural or singular because both the "s" and "t" are silent, both words, both forms. The "h" is too, for that matter!

Husband made a huge pot of Wendy's Chili (copy cat recipe) and some corn bread. Very good.

No need to be puzzled - morz8 asked if she had spelled the veggie correctly in using "haricot verts". That's what I was commenting on. Plural (like saying green beans) is haricots verts, and pronounced as if: ARE EEE CO VAIR (like fair)

DH is down with a cold and said that it is soup weather. So, take your pick. I cooked my heart out on Saturday and Sunday. I made Oxtail soup, red lentil and lemon soup, beef vegetable soup, green lentil and cauliflower soup, Sausage minestrone with orzo, and Zuppa Toscana. He works from home and this will take care of lunches for a good long while. He chose Zuppa Toscana for supper yesterday.
