Rang the bell at Taco Bell!

patti, I have your cinnamon pretzels in the oven right now. Already stirred once.

Read in a search that the waffle ones hold the mixture better, but sampled one and they are tasty.

Taking these for potluck luncheon, Monday, along with my Farmer's Casserole.

Steak, french fries and green beans. Pistachio pudding for dessert.

Really simple tonight--grabbed some leftover pizza out of the freezer. In the oven right now.

Well, I knew I'd be busy watching the PGA golf championship today and not want to cook so last night I made Italian pasta salad and when the tournament is over I'll cook up some hamburgers to go with it.

Glenda, I would just love a couple of TB tacos. The original, not the soft kind. Oooh, yum! Did you use the whole bag of pretzels (16 oz.)? Anxious to hear how you like them.

Jannie, your dinner is making me really hungry. I think I need some red meat :-)

Azzalea, I found leftover pizza in the freezer the other day but, unfortunately, it had a bad case of freezer burn. Had to toss it. So enjoy pizza for me!!

patti, have them cooling on wax paper right now.

They are so so. Maybe after they cool, and are stored in an airtight container overnight they will be blended better.

Someone recommended a dash of cayenne pepper for a kick, duh! Maybe????

Georgysmom, we're watching the tournament as well. Rory is on fire!!!! What a long day for the guys because of the rain yesterday.

Another coolish, sunny and rain on and off day today. (68F)
We have an annual Blues weekend, and hubby went downtown for about an hour to catch one of the acts.

I made bread today and we just finished some bruschetta and pasta puttanesca.

Gee, you girls eat well. Hubby also watching PGA. we are having pot roast and mashed potatoes.

Georgysmom--good planning!

Jasdip, it's great you're having rain and cooler weather. Wish I could say the same about ours.

Pam, I can't wait to have a pot roast again.

Glenda, let me know about those pretzels. No sense in keeping a recipe if it isn't good. Also, did you use the whole bag of pretzels?

I'm still having fresh garden things. I made a pot of green beans and potatoes. Also fixed a plate of sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, along with a romaine lettuce leaf topped with some ham salad.

Shirley

The pretzels aren't something I would rave over and over about. But I keep tasting them.

I used the 12 oz bag of Schultz mini pretzels from Dollar Tree.

patti, they are so easy to make, you need to try them.

I'm not a big sweet person.

Will see what the gals say tomorrow.

I spent the forenoon mopping my downstairs, 3 rooms plus half bath. Had lunch of pancakes and then went shopping with oldest daughter, Cheryl. We hit Kohl's, Walmart, and Meijer. I picked up a couple of good sandwiches from Steak and Shake. I had a coupon. I got the California Double cheese burger, small fries and a side of chili. I ate about 6 fries and saved them till tomorrow and also saved my chili. Now I know why I don't like shopping on Sunday. I hope I can stay awake to watch Big Brother tonight.

Sue

Gadgets, enjoy while you can. It's already the middle of August so autumn will soon be here. (I hope.)

I'll be interested in what your friends have to say, Glenda. It won't hurt my feelings--heck, I just copied/pasted :-)

Sue, Kohl's was having a big sale this weekend. Did you find any goo deals? I would like to find a pair of flats (shoes). Just have to gear up for shopping. I've seen the Steak and Shake ad with a picture of the California burger and, believe me, that's what I'd order if our S&S wasn't so hard to get in and out of.

I made a batch of Pioneer Woman's restaurant style salsa...and then I made nachos.

Pizza and wings

I picked stuff from the garden.....Swiss chard, Anaheim chile, green beans and some French tarragon......sauteed it with some shrimp and love the flavor.
Yummmmmmm.
