Have an ADA-compliant Dishwasher?

My parents likely need to replace the 47-yr-old Kitchenaid DW. I went to Abt to look at DishDrawers (the counter is lower-than-normal 34") and two regular ones will fit. Then the salesman mentioned ADA-compliant DWs. Designed to fit under lower counters. The adjustable feet give it a height variation of 2+" (this matters for the installation site). The major manufacturers all make one.

Mom is more amenable to this than them new-dangled dish drawers.

Has anyone used an ADA-compliant DW? Do you like it? Does the difference in height limit what you can put in them?
