Tom...the skyvine and solanum are brown above ground, not sure if they'll come back or not. Just in case though, I took cuttings of the solanum. I use to have Thyrallis, but don't have enough sun for them anymore. I agree with the rest of you, it's just too much work lugging things in and out for every freeze and/or hurricane. I've been taking cuttings from my whitfeldia elongata and brunfelsia lactea as both grow fine in the shade and took the freezes well....so am blanketing the yard in them! Also quite surprised that my new Grand Duke jasmine is as green as the day I got it...must plant more of it, too. If it's still green after 2010 freezes, I'm planting it in mass in 2011, lol. Lori Here is a link that might be useful: my yard, plants and photos...prefreeze, lol

I'm growing about 8 types of basil, 4 oreganos, 2 thymes, sage, rosemary, savory, 2 mints. etc. Hoping someone from my area is here and might care to exchange seed, cutting or plants. erika

Tom My yard/garden looks REALLY bad right now. Cindee's almost an hour southeast of me. Maybe Cindee can come halfway? Snook Haven at eye75 and River Rd is an interesting place for lunch. Englewood is amazingly far from almost everything, that's why we like it :-) Denise

Well, I just have to sing..." Happy Birthday to Me - Happy Birthday - Happy Birthday to Me - Happy Birthday!!!" Wait a minute its not my BIRTHDAY. It sure does feel like it!!! Vanessa: Thanks for all you've done!! Marcia: Thanks for picking up my babies!! Felix: Thanks for babysitting!! I'm so excited! Picture me doing the birthday dance and singing..."Happy Birthday to Me"... Priscilla
