Anyone in St. Pete or Tampa want a sifter or some #10 containers?

Well, it's hurricane season and I need to clean up the side of the house some more, so these things need to go!

I made the sifter to fit over my 8CF Jackson wheelbarrow, it's on steel bearing skateboard wheels and easy to work with, I just don't reuse my potting mix anymore and it's just aging on the side of the house from lack of use.

I've also moved away from the 8-10 gallon containers as I just don't like to make that much mix, fifteen of the twenty two containers are unused.

Tom, I will bring you aster plants - the mom plant sends out lots of shoots after she is done blooming. And then, when the young pups are done blooming, they too send out pups - so the population grows rather well :) I have QW vine, but unfortunately, this year, due to the nasty weather, it froze to the ground :( It is finally starting to coming back from the roots and has a long way to go. Anna is , I think, a bit more south of us, so her vine did much better through the winter.... Does anyone know the name of this plant? I forgot! And does anyone have it in other colors? Paul, I'm thinking it's going to be about the same size as last year. I've sent out over a dozen address emails to new people, then add in people like you and Tom and others who already know the address. Then add in a handful of neighbors, and a couple of my gardening friends that aren't online. And last year, some people carpooled so that means a few more than I sent emails. So I'm thinking it will be a decent crowd again. Tom, I'll earmark the orchid pots for you. I'm guessing just 3-5 of the bowls will work. I'm not sure what I'm putting in them yet, I'm just sick of the pets breaking things so want to move to plastic. Tina, thanks for the lemon grass! See you all soon!

OMG..I have almost procrastinated to long. I have been seeing that sign up the road now for 3 years and just decided to do something about it. I'm a newbie at this sorta thing so please,..be gentle. I have 2 chiquita banana plants,1 smooth cheyanne pineapple. Bromeliad pup cuttings...Fireball, variegated galaposa(matchstick),1 tillansia hybrid that needs a good home.Some ice plant and maybe some orchid cuttings. I have but 1 final question about this whole thing. You mention food and drink. Enough for personal consumption? Enough to share or shall I break out the Chef Cordon Blue Army Battalion cookbook.

Tina, This problem is always possible for ANY crops hugging the ground when ANY animal fertilizer is used, bacteria freely colonize soil.... If you have concerns about appropriately washing your root crops, leafy edibles or ground bearing veggies/fruit I would not use ANY animal fertilizer on crops not kept well off the ground. Tom

Oh DANG...I need a sifter. Been planning to make a smaller version...now you reminded me I have more tasks to accomplish this end-O-summer!

Cindee - so far nobody has claimed it, if it doesn't go soon we'll be making a trip to Englewood sometime in the next month, perhaps I can hook up with you and Denise there.

My yard/garden looks REALLY bad right now. Cindee's almost an hour southeast of me. Maybe Cindee can come halfway? Snook Haven at eye75 and River Rd is an interesting place for lunch.
Englewood is amazingly far from almost everything, that's why we like it :-)
