Before I ask my ? I just wanna say how awesome it really is to have an idea of how the garden goes by way of shading, heat, soil temp, e.g. I don't even know all of it. Amazing how one (or 2) season's experience really makes a diff.

Got a great spot for greens over summer because of tree line. For now, it receives a couple hours of direct sunlight in the boom of summer. The rest of the day is dappled. Perfect, huh?

Gonna plant broccoli there, first. Can I follow the broccoli with lettuce? mustard greens? kale? spinach? chard? Maybe carrots?

oh crud. Now I'm thinking of sweet peas versus broccoli. Can I do both?

recap: brocolli and/or peas until the poplar tree leaves fill in. Then, the tender greens.

sigh
