weeping tree roses

Hi.

I live in the USA, in Arizona. I have numerous Hybrid Teas and miniatures. I also have a 60" weeping tree rose. The weeping tree rose doesn't seem to be very common around here. Are they common in Europe? I have found almost no information on caring for a weeping tree rose. It is weeping to the ground from about 6 or 7 feet up. Can anyone tell me how I should prune this variety? Nobody here seems to know. Should I prune it way back, like my teas and minis? Or should I be pretty much "hands off", like a climber? Or somewhere in between? And can I expect year round blossoms? Or once blooming, in the springtime? It is a Weeping Fuschia Meidiland, 3 years old.

Any books or literature that anybody could recommend for this variety?

Thanks from the American Southwest.

Margaret
