I never,ever buy fresh meat at Wal-Mart! Maybe it wasn't meant to be Glenda.LOL I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago.Took back and item without a receipt and got a store credit card.Used that when I checked out.When the cashier ran the card it wouldn't go through so she tried again and again and again,even typed in the number 3 times,then finally called someone to help.After about 10 minutes at the checkout they figured out the machine was broken! Duhhh! There was a long line behind me and the lady next in line kept tapping her ultra long fake nails on the box she was waiting to have checked out!LOL Anyway,I was frustrated,loaded up my cart and left.Got home and couldn't find the $2.69 bag of sugar or the receipt!It was the time of the month when money is tight so I was counting my pennies and $2.69 is,well,a bag of sugar!LOL DH went back to the store to the checkout where I had been.Luckily the cashier remembered me and told him to go get another bag of sugar and come back through her line.Actually I thought that was pretty nice of her because without a receipt it would be hard to get a replacement.I imagine the lady with the long fingernails got a free bag of sugar as compensation for having to wait in line so long! LOL I always check and ask if that's all but that day was a big mess and I just forgot.

I feel all your frustrations in finding the perfect fridge. I replaced mine last month, not planned, my 25 cu ft Amana SD, bottom mount freezer lost its compressor. For the second time. The compressor had failed in the refrigerator the day before we closed on this house 3 years ago, and the seller had the compressor replaced - offering us either the repair or a credit. I chose repair as the refer was just 6-7 yrs old, and after all, Amana was once the gold standard....maybe not now ;) The choices, while food was being held in the garage in a spare a divorcing friend is storing here (I've stopped complaining about the space his things are taking), weren't great. A small coastal community and my choices had dwindled to Sears, Home Depot. Learned there is no local service for LG, Samsung. An hour away, I found a 25 cu ft Kitchen Aid FD, bottom mount, water and ice inside with a warranty that beat all the others. In the uncrating and installation, I saw the wine rack was packaged as Amana, some of the door shelves packaged as Whirlpool. It's fine. It doesn't give me a thrill as I walk into my kitchen but the storage seems to be working out and while I load from the left, I'm not automatically reaching out and not finding a door handle as the first few days ;) I discovered when initially transferring my food, there is an alarm for an open door....

Appreciate the peer review. Thank you greg you are correct. I tacked the small baseboard on the inside of the closet to the studs near the edges with some brad nails. When I was doing work downstairs I used safety plates but did not here. I could have used a multitool to saw out a space and stick a plate in there. Drywalling makes me think of safety plates but I need to remember about the baseboards. I think I was more concerned with hitting my data lines once I got through when I was drilling the new hole. Wires arent usually loose like that, but I am not worried about it this far from the floor. Any wiring I have done that went any real distance up a wall stud has been supported.
