I have been off the computer for a little while but now back on with a vengenance!!!!

I have posted some pics ,which I hope you find interesting:

We have made a new bed along the back fence and planted some Violinas:hopefully they will grow large and provide some fence cover

Looking great Michelle, ..Like mine so many pinks, Your potted ones are doing well also.
I dug up my two Bonica Patio roses 11 days ago, and having stakes in them all the soil fell off.
Now they seem to like their new bed better as they have so many new shoots on them and are flying away.
When you have time could you take a close up of the Violinas if it still has a bloom....Cheers...MM.

PS... I enjoyed them very much....

Thanks again, especially for the candytuft ID, they are the stars of the spiral right now but they're starting to go to seed. I have a fountain in the front yard, and although I agree it would look great I wouldn't want to deal with the hassle in that particular spot. Birds love fountains, consequently they need to be cleaned frequently and it always involves splashing a lot of water on the ground and walking around the fountain a bit. Maybe I could get a birdbath and hook it to the irrigation system, but a statue would be easier and require less maintenance. I think I'm a one fountain person, a second is not something I relish taking care of but I wouldn't dream of getting rid of the one I have. Most recently a bench has been added to the garden, I realized that the place where the path brushes the raised bed is the coolest and most comfortable spot to hang out so I mentioned it to the DH and next thing I knew we had a new bench. I love it, it's perfect for sitting and enjoying my new area.

Sorry, the Bleeding Heart, Garden Cat, Heuchie Sweet Tart-Marilyn Monroe-Heuchie Sugar Berry labels did not come through the edit process. In the picture below, the big heuchie is Ginger Snap, with Grand Prize behind it, then Ripple Effect keeping company with Heuchie Sweet Tart to its right. In the 18" ceramic pot are Appletini (11 o'clock), Cracker Crumbs (6 o'clock), and Pure Heart at 5 o'clock. Last picture is a box containing 2 colors of tuberous begonias, some wax begonias, some New Guinea impatiens and backed by some purple stock.

I am in Columbia, SC (Irmo area). Got bit by the bug in 2013. It;s gotten so bad I am also the webmaster for the Dixie Hosta Society (dixiehosta.net) and I am creating a few hosta website. One to help locate hosta (FindMyHosta.com) and one that I hope will help people identify which hosta they have (IDmyHosta.com). Have really enjoyed the time I have spent planting and watching them grow. Never had much of a green thumb but they seem to survive despite me.

MM I have included a close up of Violina as requested!!:))
Glad to hear that your roses have picked up after the move.
We extended the rose garden and transplanted 4 roses that had been in containers and they are booming along.
New shoots/buds when they had been doing nothing before the move.Quite excited about this ,actually.

I splashed out and treated myself to "Evelyn" last weekend.It is a beauty.Have to find a spot for it now!!!

This is a pic of Violina in bud stage.It opens to a large flower and lasts long on the plant and in the vase with a knockout perfume.
