About me: I am a new to gardening,gardening now for about 5 years.My first love is roses.However ,I have now developed a whole new interest in cottage type gardens with foxgloves etc.I am learning new things about gardening in general all the time and find that gardening is very relaxing,calming and rewarding.I am a primary teacher ,not working at the moment, with a delightful husband and two great kids aged 10 and 15.I have about 60 roses of all types, both planted in the ground and in containers.We had to start the garden from scratch because when we moved here about 7 years ago ,we had to level everything, remove trees etc.A huge job.We are now entering the finishing stages and its looking pretty good!I love the forums and have learned a great deal,often had a good laugh and hope to contribute something useful or entertaining.
