Question about Online Photo Albums

I know there are many wonderful photographers on this forum. I have a question: Which online photo album web sites do you prefer for photo sharing and storage?

I have used Webshots for many years, but they have changed and not for the better. I pay ever year for premium service (about $25) and I wonder what people on this forum like.

Please tell me.

I do love webshots. I also like pbase.com, and you can post pic elsewhere from there. It's another premium site. Another nice one is Sony's site, Image station.

I use Image Event. That was my choice after checking out a bunch of theh other ones. It has no free hosting, so the majority of the site is relatively clutter free. No ads at all on your albums. Only $24.95 per year.

You can also link directly to single images. No bandwidth limits.

I like the fact that I can take a paragraph of their code, and place it in my own web page.

You can free test Image Event for a week or two. There are a lot of options for displays and control of most colors.

I paid an extra one time fee to be able to send 50 meg files in case I want to upload videos that size. That one time fee also permits a permanent boost to 3000 megs storage from the 1500 meg storage.

Customer service has been prompt. The site was down only 2 hours that I noticed in 2 years.

They seem to cater to a lot of people who are very adept at photography.

YAY! Thanks guys! I just love looking at pictures. Hopefully someday mine will be half as pretty! I love the shots taken from further back, where you can see the whole plant, not just one bloom. Flowerfan, some of yours are huge! Is that just one clematis? How old are they? Buyorsell, I didn't know that Asao sometimes double bloomed like that? Or were my eyes playing tricks on me? Your homemade trellis are gorgeous. That "wall of blooms" pic was so beautiful! I can't wait for blooms. (Miguel will tease me for my impatience, but I can't help it!)

Hmmmm...... Habits??? As long as this post lasts I could show the seeds I have planted this year as they grow. I never knew how impatient I was until I planted these seeds!!! This is what it looked like the day I planted. This was May 6th, which is a special day for me because it's the day my only sister, who was my very best friend lost her battle with cancer. I always do something that we wanted to do together. I took my first ever hot air balloon ride and came home and planted my seeds. She had my Mom's green thumb and could make anything grow and thrive. I like to think she was right there beside me.

"When you get an email about an event like a flight, concert, or restaurant reservation, it's added to your calendar automatically. If you don't want events from Gmail on your calendar, you can delete a single event, or change your settings so that events aren't added automatically." There are a few reasons why an event from Gmail may not show up in Calendar.
