When posting and stuff goes pftd hit the back arrow. Sometimes the post is still there. Alternately before hitting send, highlight and copy to your mouse and hold it there in imagination and then hit send. If all disappears you still have the text hanging on your mouse click to paste into the next message box.

Last weekend the neighbors were discussing using abbreviations when they text their kids. The kids all claimed they didn't know what the moms meant and the moms must have been making up their own abbreviations (which they did admit to doing!). A teacher in the group suggested putting flash card type labels on all sorts of things around the house. Then when Mom texts "empty dw" the kid will know it means dishwasher & can't avoid the task by playing dumb. FWIW (for what it's worth)

I remember a while back someone had posted a question and signed it TIA. So, in my response, I called her Tia--not realizing that TIA meant "thanks in advance." Duh! Also, especially on the kitchen forum, SS can mean soap stone. btw, in the last email I ever received from my FID (former interior designer), she told me to FOAD. It strikes every Plumeria addict from time to time, especially upon the discovery that somewhat else has acquired a great new cultivar. Plumie: Idiomatic term of endearment for Plumeria. PMS: Plumeria Maniac Syndrome. An unfortunate psychological condition that may cause addicts at Plumeria sales to push and shove each other to get to the best plants first. Failing that, those in the deepest grips of the condition may rip branches off Plumeria snagged first by others. Sporadic; can be worse at certain times of the month and is thought to be influenced by ambient light levels. PP: The Plumeria People/Botanic Treasures, a Plumeria source. SNG: Spray-N-Gro. A supplement and growth enhancer. Also often abbreviated as SnG. ST: SuperThrive. A supplement and growth enhancer.
