Coronado Island, San Diego, CA. You can't really tell in the picture, but there were three Sea Lions in among the kelp and a guy snorkeling. The man and beast came within 10 feet of each other.

What a cool shot, Kat! He's almost camouflaged. Did you use manual focus? Most autofocus would pick up the brambles between the bird and the camera.

Thanks so much Susan....nearly all of my shots are auto-focus....its so much easier for the camera to focus for me since birds tend to not sit still for long periods of time. By the time I manually focused he could migrate to South America and back...LOL. This little point-and-shoot has done wonderfully for me and I'm sad to say its slowly losing resolution....can't get the birds and other "quick" subjects like I used to. Thanks again for the wonderful compliment...

Bigack, I really like Day Lilys and yesterday my DD and I went to the Lily Farm and went crazy....Of course, today I'm trying to figure out where to plant them.....I should write down the names of the ones I've gotten and then names of the ones I'd like to get....Chicago Apache is one I'll remember.....Gorgeous!

Snapped these two posies in a friend's yard at a baby shower yesterday and stitched them together

It's lizard weather. They come out when it is hot and Elvira tries to chase them up a tree. She never learns that she can't catch them.

Clare, my grandmother's dachshund caught a lizard one time, she stood there with the tail in her mouth wondering why the rest of the lizard got away, lol.

My red onion crop this year....well part of them.

I haven't dug my red onions yet, gotta do that tomorrow. Yours looks great.
