Ha! I wouldn't have guessed a hummingbird. Either he's ignoring the sign or can't read. :-)

First zinnia to open on the terrace. Looks a little Day-Glo to me. (But pretty--I'm not usually crazy about Day-Glo.)

Nicole, I have no idea what type of poppy it is. I first brought a few seed heads from my mums garden years ago and now I see them in gardens all around where I live!
The petals are just like tissue paper and you can guarantee that as soon as a few of them come into flower, it pours with rain and ruins them!

I guess the cataract surgery was worth it! I saw the cutie right away then had to ZOOM WAY IN to identify. I just couldn't say to much and give it away so others could look and tell.
