He's home now, but his jaundice is a 18..(?) Here's a photo of him with his Uncle Bryan from Oregon. Thanks for all the good thoughts for him! Kathy

Oh my,he is yellow! Hope he gets better soon.Glad he's home.Put him in the sun,if there is any where you are.LOL I think a reading above 20 can be of concern.

DGS was jaundiced. Learned boys have it more than girls. RH problems have it more--he was. And then he wouldn't eat, and it is eating with the accompanying peeing and pooping that flushes it out of your system.

Leslie, Nate is in my thoughts alot lately. I hope his newest treatment can help shrink the tumor very soon. This was Jan. 9th of course. Your work on this benefit brought happy tears to my eyes. Your whole family did an amazing job. Nate had sooo many friends there. Watching Nate's friends lining up to talk with him and I could see their love for him as they each took a turn. Aw, look how cute he is! He's just precious and I'm so glad he got to come home. Those of us with olive skin tones think he looks pretty fine! lol

He looks healthy and fat. Those white blankets around him make him look darker too. I'm sure they wouldn't have let him come home without proper lights being set up for in home use if he needs that (which he probably does). He's a sweetie, and I'm glad he's home. Keep us posted, please.

ps... we got our white Christmas! was up in West Seattle for the day and had a white dusting for 30 minutes or so!

Sweet, sweet baby! Did they suggest a type of sunlight bulb to put him under? If I remember correctly, one of my friends put her jaundiced baby under a type of "grow light" a few hours every day. He was fine in just a short time.
