Update on DGS Nathan :/

Not the best news to hear. DD called a little while ago. She didn't tell me yesterday, because it was my birthday.

Nate came home Tuesday I think it was, maybe yesterday, anyway, he said he'd had some tingling in his face. So DD called into Childrens where his Dr.s are, and they went in yesterday. They did an MRI. The tumor has grown. Dr. said "Well, Nathan, I guess your body doesn't like Temador (sp) so we'll try a different one. Only with this one, you'll have to have a port put in." So tomorrow he goes in for a port. He'll also be put on some steroids. There was more she said, but it's all running around in my head right now. So much to deal with lately. I'm going to get a glass of wine.

I am sorry to hear about Mate's tumor....once he gets the port in, it is great for delivering the chemo.
I will continue to keep him in my healing prayers.
Sorry you are having some much stress with family illnesses, Leslie.

Nate's such a great kid. I'm glad he's doing well. I hope he will soon be able to get off the steroids completely. I'm going to the web site to leave a donation Leslie. Back in the 1970s my sister used to be an entertainer over there. She did some of the traditional dances and she did some with a baton that had fire at both ends.
