Yesterday I spent almost an entire day trying to find some 'quality', decent ecards to be able to send them friends. By that I mean no glittering, no animation but a good art work (let it be by Giotto, van Gogh or Dahli), beautiful nature photos possibly not overdone or a landmark building that suits the holidays. Top of that, I wanted some nice classical music to attach. After 6 hours of search I found this site: http://www.saturn-soft.net/ They have songs practically all of the modern and classical 'pop stars' but I could find music by classical composers. Halleluiah! No corniness, no kitsch and no glittering in those galleries I checked. (But I checked the classical ones or went to the "composer lists" If any of you bookmarked similar hidden treasures, please let me know! I would like to start a collection of websites with this kind of ecards and music. I try to link one page but I have no way of knowing if it works or not. I had a tape called Ace Cannon's Christmas or something like that. It had several beautiful Christmas songs done with his saxaphone. I played it every year for a long time. One year I took it to work for our Christmas party and it disappeared. I have searched high and low for another one. I went to his web sight a couple of years ago and there were a couple with some Christmas songs on them, but not the same one I lost. My mother plays music at some local clubs and local gatherings. One night Ace Cannon was there playing too. Mom called me and I went to where they were. I was able to talk to Ace Cannon, but he said he had nothing to do with his marketing and inventory and said to try his web sight. I told him I already did, but with no luck.
