I use playlist, and don't have very many Christmas songs listed yet. What are your favorits?

I enjoy manheim steanrollers/ the piece "still, still,still" is absolutly beautiful. I know it is on youtube if you would like to listen .

Barb, I kid you not. I didn't know either of those songs were regional...and no..they don't play them on the country station LOL! Walking 'round in womens' underwear is sung to the tune of 'Walking in a winter wonderland' and the hippo song is sung by a little kid...I think a girl...but like 5 years old so it's hard to tell. I should probably call Bully to let him know he can have his CD back anytime :-) Dawg

I loved The Judd's from the 80s. A favorite 80s CD of theirs is "Rockin With the Rhythm." "Have Mercy" "Grandpa" "Cry Myself to Sleep." Although it's not on the same CD, I really like "Young Love" by The Judds. Dwight Yoakam...OMG, I used to love Dwight, still do. LOL Some of my favorites from Dwight: Guitars, Cadillacs, etc: "Honky Tonk Man" Hillbilly Deluxe: "Little Ways" "Johnson's Love" "Please, Please Baby" "Always Late" "Little Sister" (a fav of mine)

I love Mannheim Steamroller, but right now I have a harp CD playing and it's great with a variety of music. Earlier I had Deep Still Christmas, a collection of Celtic hymns and Carols, which I think is my all-time favorite CD.

I also LOVE the Messiah - love the Tenor solo part. One time I played in the pit, and a monk from the local monestary sang it. Brought me to tears -

I love many by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

My favorite carol, though, is In a Bleak Midwinter. It reminds me of when I was young and sang it in the church choir with my older sister.

All the oldies especially by singers such as Andy Williams, Kate Smith, etc.

The one song I absolutely hate and keep hearing everywhere is that stupid "Grandma got run over by a raindeer".
