Two of his first 3 wives? According to the article, the medical examiner believes she fell in the tub and died. So he was never accused of murdering her. As for the last wife, I don't know what to think. Especially considering he admits to dating so quickly after the wife disappeared. I saw him on Dr Phil and this guy brought up a lot of valid points. But then he was a cop. He could be a good actor too. While he is a suspect in his wife's disappearance, he's not a suspect in her murder. There is no proof she's dead.

I had it wrong, there have been 4 wives so far. The third, the one who drowned in the bathtub, her body was exhumed and the case relabeled as a homicide.

The evidence is being re-examined and all indications say he did murder his wife , the one that supposedly fell in the bathtub.Hope they can snag him. But being an ex cop has helped him to get away with this so far.His day is coming!!

Well, let's put it this way: This woman will be safe. Why? Because he's a suspect in the death of wife #3, and a suspect in the disappearance of wife #4. He would be CRAZY(er) to do anything to wife #5 because everybody will be watching. If anything, I think she's very safe.

BUT WHERE ARE HER PARENTS? I would be having a BIG talk with my daughter if I were her mother.

Pearson seems to believe he's sane, but because he is Crazy, I don't think any wife would be safe with this idiot.

Safe??? You've got to be kidding. Yes, maybe if he were sane, but he's not. Look at OJ, he had to know he was under the radar.

What caught my eye most about the story was that Drew was seeing Stacy while he was still married with two little kids. So she was the other woman so to say and not just some innocent woman herself  kind of makes me feel less sorry for her.

OJ hadn't murdered a soon to be ex-wife when Nicole and Ron were murdered. He wasn't under the radar. And all the women he dated after the murders are still alive and well. =o)

And a LOT of men have affairs while married with kids at home. Wife #2 was the reason for divorce #1. And wife #3 was dating him while he was married to wife #2. He is still legally married to wife #4, so this woman can't marry him until he can prove wife #5 walked out on him, or until the courts can prove she is dead. They may not be able to marry anyways.

Well, he should have been on the radar. One question that the media has avoided is the mysterious death of his 2y/o child who drown in their pool while he was going through a divorce with Marguerite Whitley. A couple going through a divorce and a child suddenly dying makes me wonder now if he was trying to avoid paying child support. Why would he not be that cruel? He was able to knife slaughter his ex-wife and a complete stranger.

Here is a recent news article about how he bribed witnesses in his last trial. The whole thing sound like a drug deal gone bad. OJ was/is a known drug user but celebrities just don't ever go to jail for drug use like the underprivileged do.

You are aware that OJ was just sentenced to jail time... right? I didn't mean under the radar before his wife's death (although from dilly's post it sounds like he should have been) I meant after his death. And, I didn't mean OJ would commit the exact same crime in the exact same way with the exact same people... but something was bound to happen with him because he's insane -- and not insane like your MIL or old boyfriend, but really clinically insane.

No, Drew probably won't cover up a murder using a bathtub accident again, or have another wife mysteriously disappear, but I wouldn't doubt something out of the ordinary could happen to anyone he's involved with for a long period of time. Maybe a child will die of SIDS or a wife will fall overboard or be in a car accident. Sane people would walk through life knowing they are on the radar and live life like they are under a microscope. Narcissist don't; they think they're indestructible and will continue to hurt those around them and act irrationally even when "under the radar".

And, I know a lot of men with kids have affairs. And I am aware that a lot of women have affairs with them... that wasn't my point. I just wasn't aware that "Stacy Perterson" was having an affair with him while he was married; it makes me see HER in a different light... that was my point. (and just because everyone's doing it, doesn't make it right or acceptabe in my book)

I see he is staying true to form. He preys on young women; she's 23. I'm waiting to hear that she's been abused before, has unstable family background, buys into his 'rescuer' pose.

I try to ignore this freak. If everybody did...wouldn't HE be unhappy!

According to the article below, there would have been no reason to suspect OJ of harming his child. He had 3 children when the little one drowned. His marriage ended in a divorce because he met Nicole. There was also no record of violence in the relationship.

As for why he is in jail now............ that's comparing apples to oranges. He never abused a single woman he dated since Nicoles murder. THAT is that point I am trying to make with Drew Peterson. OJ would have been a complete lunatic (okay.......so I can't think of a word to describe what he really is because I believe he already is a complete lunatic) to have even pretended to abuse a woman since the trial.

I read a LOT of true crime books. The police will be watching him like a hawk. He won't be able to flinch around this woman without someone swooping over her. And *if* she turns up dead, he will be arrested so fast his head will spin. No if's ands or buts about it.

I'm not an idiot when it comes to men who murder their wives. The 100+ true crime books I've read taught me a lot. He, being a former police office, knows he'll be watched like a hawk. And with evidence gathering better today than it's ever been, he's going to have to be more careful than ever. *If* he goes to jail for another crime, as OJ did, that's completely 100% different.

What I don't understand, being engaged, means you plan to marry, right? How does he plan to marry someone else while he's still married? His wife just ran away, so he claims.....

What gets me is alllll the women out there who date/write get engaged marry men in prison for murdering/abusing ex/or spouses or gf's totally amazing! Stacy

Looks like he found another 'little lost girl' to 'rescue'. According to a story in this morning's Chicago Tribune, she has a BF of five years and two kids, 4 and 5, with him. All three of the supposed adults here sound like real losers. Poor kids.
