I've heard of kool aid pickles, but I would never try it!

I saw that on Casey's site of the day today. Didn't click on it cause it didn't sound very good. lol We've made deep fried hotdogs before and they were pretty good. DD tried a fried Snicker bar at Dollywood quite a few years ago... it was very gooey as you might expect.

I watched the video. Except for the fact that it's deep fried, which isn't healthy, I can't see any problems with it. It makes a fruit flavored donut 'hole'. That's all. Why not fruit flavored instead of the usual spices (cinnamon, allspice, etc) used in donuts?

That is something I might try. It's just kool-aid flavoured donut holes. Not deep fried kool-aid. As for deep fried hot dogs, pickles, butter, chocolate bars: those sound disgusting and I would never try them. Deep friend anything is so bad for you, but those are the icing on the cake. The donuts, I would try.

Saw it in the TV news yesterday, Sounds repulsive. Reminds me of the donuts ("fried cakes") my Mother used to make.

Last year at the fair they sold fried butter! I don't get it lol

Didn't know what it was until I took it off the buffet.

The name is a misnomer. It's nothing more than a cherry flavored fritter or donut. People don't go crazy over lemon, banana or other flavors. This is nothing outrageous. Pretty tame actually.

I don't eat deep fried anything. At the Iowa State Fair they sell deep fried everything and if you look at the size of the folks waiting in lines for that food, you know why deep fried is BAD for you.

I saw an article in the paper about the deep-fried Kool-Aid this morning. What I can't believe is people pay $5.95 for 3 of those "donut holes".

I bought Grape, Black Cherry and Watermelon/Kiwi koolaid flavors...I'm going to give it a try.

I wish they had a blueberry flavor...I'd make red and blue ones for the fourth picnic here.
