So here is the link if you want to go.

We just put a movie in so I won't be able to go for about an hour and a half.

So if you start at about 8:00 central I'll be there about 8:30.

hi, well i share your passion for growing stuff. Trees are my first love, i grow as many as i can from seed or seedlings and i love trying to plant rare and new varieties. I have run out of space now though .. it’s very rewarding and so i guess i am a garden geek now. There must be loads of people want to but you just need the space. This seems to be a fair forum for us such minded folks ! I too was on AOL way back in the day, it was a shame their chat rooms ended as they were useful and interesting to chat on. I don’t and won’t ever use facebook . I suppose i am now old fashioned but i think facebook is a spying tool that you all should avoid. Just my opinion. :) keep on planting ! ps anybody want some trees ? i have a greenhouse full of baby conifers and many are very rare varieties i can share , i am struggling to find them their spots . Any other tree enthusiasts out there.? Love to chat on trees ...Ivor

The news says it should be in the low 40's tonight in St Pete. Not sure what the temp was at my house last night, but there was frost on the lawn this morning. Surprisingly most of my tender plants (impatiens, bougainvillea, coleus) seem to have come through unharmed. The only things that look worse for the wear are the poinsettias, and even they didn't get it too bad. John

We ordered 300 Tundra and Borealis from Canada in September and distributed about half of them to other local green thumbs. The plants spent a week in transit but were still moist upon arrival. We gave a couple of bushes to a relative in Albert Lea, MN, and look forward to seeing how they do in the rich soil down there. I just talked with a grower (not a seller) in Saskatchewan this evening and he verified how sweet the Canadian berries are that have been cross-bred at the U of S. He said that the Russian Berry Blue (the pollinizer) is fine for processing as you can add sugar, but both Tundra and Borealis are great off the bush. We plan to order another shipment from Canada in the spring of 2011.

I clicked on the link in the other thread. The page is Java driven, so they have to make sure they have Java. There are two different Java downloads. So sorry that I cannot remember the difference between them or their individual purposes. If I'm not mistaken, there are Java Script and Java Runtime Environment, but don't hold me to those. I found it very confusing but was able to get them both downloaded. That was many months ago, so I don't remember. After you get them downloaded, you want to make sure to enable them in your browser. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab Here's a pic of mine

I've been away so long and had a few hard drive crashes so I've lost all of my links. I tried last night to get in with the link that you posted Patti because I wanted to catch up with all of you but it brought me to a blank page with a red X. I used to go to the other site and I hadn't been there in so long that I was banned for not posting LOL. So if we don't get to chat I just wanted you to know that I've been thinking about you and THANK YOU Patti for all of the little things that you still sent to me over the years...your bookmarks, your pins, cards etc. You've never forgotten me and it really did mean alot in some really trying times.
I would love to catch up sometime with you all,

PPLady....hey! You weren't banned...MSN shut down their sites.We no longer have a NightOwl site.And LONG before they shut the sites down,they took the chat rooms off.I didn't ban anyone...just MSN took everything away! Sorry! You might have to download Java to get in the room Patti linked too....
