What are you eating tonight?

I won a pair of tickets to a play from our radio station. It's at 8 pm. We decided we'd order take-out chinese. It's been months and months since we did that, and was it ever good!

Looking forward to seeing the play. It's a comedy and has lots of great reviews.

Shoot, Jas, I scrolled all the way down to see if you'd started yet since I was so late and didn't see a thing.

I like Chinese. Ir's so cheap it's not worth making at home. We have two pretty good ones very close, but I forget about it unless it's really cold and I want soup!

We just finished dinner. Pork Chops, steamed broccoli and cauliflower and baked potato. We'll have strawberries and cake for dessert. That's the first time I've cooked pork chops in several months. Delicious!

Hah, I've got this one down pat! When you eat some form of pasta for three or four meals a day for a solid week or more!! I do this often. I need to eat three or four or more small meals a day and sometimes the only meal that's not pasta is supper with Christy, but then...sometimes she eats something else and I eat pasta for supper too. Bwahahaha... I even freeze quite a bit of the sauce so that I can have fresh sauce after I run out of the first pound of pasta. Sometimes I have my pasta with just butter, or butter and sour cream or with cottage cheese and of course there are periogies with sour cream and gnocchi or ravioli with sour cream. After about a week or ten days I make my next big pot of chili... and eat that with...rice...or bread...or tortilla's or... some darn carb...potatoes.... My name is Coconut and I am a carb lover. [psst...when the little crabs were mentioned and then Annie said didn't eat enough of them..... gagggg..... I too figured he meant the body crabs...shudder...gaggg..] Now if I lived back in New Orleans and could get crabs all the time............I'd still eat pasta two or three times and day and crabs once or twice...lol. Btw, my A1C is excellent as is my cholesterol and such. I think it's all the sauce. My weight, not so much, but I'm a nice healthy obese person. Smiles.

Nothing. We went out for lunch (Olive Garden) for the soup, salad and breadsticks. Used our last OG gift card from DD. I absolutely pigged out on breadsticks and salad, so I couldn't even finish my chicken gnocchi soup. Brought it home for DH to have for supper, 'cause I'm STILL full of bread!! It was delicous but I felt like I'd just had Thanksgiving.

I sent most of it home with my son--all of the left over au gratin potatoes, jello salad, deviled eggs, green beans almondine, and a chunk of ham. Forgot to send the sauce with him. But we do have a lot of ham left. Tonight we are having escallped corn casserole, honey mustard curry chicken, and broccoli. Will make split pea soup in a couple of days.

Baha's Burger: lucious pork tenderloin burger, topped with pepper jack cheese, lime aoila, and arugula on a toasted wheat rosette bun. Then a serving of fried sweet potatoes with fried okra tossed in. I've developed a taste for arugula on sandwiches lately. Soooo worth the treat, today!

I'm eating delicious pork, left over from last night. And I'm enjoying it every bit as much as I did then!

Fried some potatoes and onions, put a polish sausage on top and put a lid on it to steam. Popped some fresh broccoli in the microwave, heated up some Texas Toast, and YUM!

We had a huge pork chop, (which will feed the two of us for more than two dinners!) browned and oven roasted, then sliced thinly, with lemon caper sauce. Sweet potatoes, and sauerkraut, with a leftover dab of mashed potato for me (I'm not a big sweet potato fan).

Dinner was pretty simple--leftovers from Tuesday (we'd eaten at a local place)--spaghetti and meatballs for DH, cheese tortellini for me.

BUT then we had dessert--brownie topped with a white chocolate Kamora mousse and Kamora-glazed almonds.

We had homemade vegetable soup with cornbread. It was cold today and the perfect day for soup. The vegetables were from our garden this summer. So yummy!

No idea.

Ole joyful's in Edmonton - about 0 degrees (that's 32 F.) ,.. but about 50 m p h wind, pilot said, but I haven't been outside yet. Edmonton airport information letting me use their computer - how's that for service ... and a lady offered me a stool on which to sit.

Having dinner with sis in law, brother/wife and niece and nephew later today ... it's sis-in-law's 80th birthday. So have no idea what food'll be.

Back giving a bit of trouble, but not much (after upwards of five-hour plane ride). Talked to doc yesterday, he gave me some exercises, I didn't figure need for pills.
