CONGRATULATIONS on your new refrigerator.

I was hungry, so ventured down by the farmer's market, Niki's West, for veal cutlet, navy beans, 7 layer salad, and licked my plate clean :o)

Bama's not doing well at all.

I have cranberry/pineapple meatballs in the oven, will serve over rice and pea pods for a side.

After eating the hot canned chili last night, it inspired me to make my own recipe today. Hadn't made it in years as it's time consuming, etc. Plus, I'd switched to White Chili instead of my regular kind. So it's chili two nights in a row.

I'm glad you got your new refrigerator and you like it.

Going out, there is a new seafood place, might try that. If not, Italian or tapas at a wine bar.

We were just finishing a hamburger and there was a knock at our door. There stood my downstairs neighbour who is an avid fisherman, bearing a plate of Rainbow trout, green beans and sweet potatoes. This was his first weekend home in weeks. He's always gone before light, to travel an hour or so north to fish for trout.

So we had his meal too! Needless to say we ate well!

Glenda, I'd lick the plate clean, too, if I had your meal--especially the 7-layer salad. Alabama's doing better now ;-)

Marigene, that sounds delicious and I bet your house smells wonderful, too.

Shirley, I could eat chili anytime. There's a big difference between white and regular so it's new to your taste buds. Thanks, I'll like the frig after I get to load it.

Ooooh, Terilyn I like the tapas idea. I snack much better than I eat. But all three sound like winners to me.

I finally remembered I had frozen the spinach orzo chicken soup I made so I got it out and it's heating (and thawing).

I went to the church Harvest Dinner tonight, met Mom there, and we were served ham, cheesy potatoes, and green beans. Then a dessert of our choice from the dessert table.

Jas, I agree with Schoolhouse--you have a great neighbor. When we used to go to GA in the summer, we ate rainbow trout any time we could. I love it smoked. I'd have to eat two meals, too. (Aren't we just the wicked ones?)

Schoolhouse, gotta love church dinners. And yours sounds yummy. Cheese potatoes just seem to be a natural with ham.

I just got home. We went to Alyssa's and we had pizza from Pizza Hut. I ate some of the lemon pie and iced tea I had fixed here at home. Church dinner tomorrow so I have been busy today fixing my foods to take. I know you will soon have the big refrigerator filled up Patti, I did mine!

You're going to love that new refrigerator! I can't inspire you. I've been dragging down all the Christmas decorations so I can decorate tomorrow. We're just having pizza tonight.

This is my 2nd night in San Diego~~I went to the SeaPort Village, walking distance from the hotel spent 4 hours having fun there. On the way out this morning I spotted a restaurant right across the street from my hotel, it has vegetarian options YEA!! I got the meatless lasagna, they usually do a meat sauce on it but offer pommarolo also, that is what I got~~soon I will zap it in the micro watch tv and eat;)

I have felt nauseous all day so Mike fixed what he wanted. I also have a headache so I took some BC Powder with a small glass of milk. Hopefully will feel up to par tomorrow. Don't know what happened as I woke up feeling fine, no other symptoms.
