I made a meatloaf today. Since oven was on, I actually baked a potato instead of nuking. That way I could also put a little butter on the skins, which I love to do. Also steamed some corn.

Dinner today was chicken parmesan with spaghetti. Also hubby had a salad & garlic bread. Dessert was cho. chip angel food cake.

Friend and I "hungout" today, and we went down by the farmer's market to Niki's.

I had their veal cutlet, navy beans and 7 layer salad. I was hungry and left satisfied.

Sour kraut pizza

Left-over mashed potatoes and pork chop.....even better than last night!

We had ham, lima beans and brown rice.

I went to emergency care today and didn't want to cook so my husband suggested loaded baked potatoes, he did most of the work. It was very good.

It turns out that my cough has been so violent and hard it tore a Hernia from my right side into my belly button. I mean good grief if this cough doesn't stop soon I might fall apart. So now I must have a surgery to repair the damages. Thankfully she gave me more super antibiotics and some of the powerful cough syrup. I am praying for this to work.

Dinner here was italian sausage in cream sauce with brown rice pasta and baby spinach stirred in after it was off the heat. It's a 2 pot meal...
And usually little to no leftovers.. :)

Holy smokes Raven!!! I get bronchitis EVERY time, I don't get just a cold. The coughing hurts like hell, and I get headaches from coughing, and my head feels like it's going to pop off. So I get to the doctor as soon as I can.

You must be in total agony!

I made the overnight breakfast casserole for myself. Hubby is not an egg-eater, but he thought it looked really good. He had some, and loved it. Egg isn't the main focus, the bread, sausage/ham is. He finished it off for dinner with some corn, and I had leftover ham, potatoes and corn.

Gosh, Raven, that sounds terrible. I hope the new meds work for you quickly.

I was at a party tonight and made my dinner from the munchies offered. There were lots of fresh raw vegetables and some excellent cheeses.

I'm so sorry you've had that darned cough for soooo long, Raven! May the new antibiotics work well and quickly!

We had French dip sandwiches, broccoli and salad. Haven't had in a long time so it tasted good.

Gosh, that cough sounds pretty awful. I have had them like that, so I hope you get it under control very soon. Get Well soon!

Thanks everyone, I am very hopeful that this cough syrup might do the job. It does make me very drowsy so I won't be operating heavy equipment!
They said I have to be completely well with no infection and no coughing before the surgeon can take care of the Hernia, unless of course it gets hard and can't be pushed back in, that becomes a very serious emergency.
Fingers and toes crossed.
