I'm so mad at myself. For the first time ever, there are no leftovers from Christmas! There was just enough for Step-father to have a meal. But there was lots of stuffing.

So I brought the stuffing home and took 2 pork chops out last nite, with the intention of using the stuffing alongside.
We had the pork chops all right, potatoes and a veggie, and as I was cleaning up, I remembered the stuffing. Grrrrrrr.

I boiled some extra potatoes. I'm going to shred and fry them for home-fries. Or potato pancakes. Does anyone make them, and how?

Jasdip, come on down. I got the Food Saver out and ground 3 bags of ground ham (3 c. each), one large bag of ham for sandwiches when the kids come in April, and Harry cut the bone into two pieces for ham/bean soup. The freezers are both full. They're just the freezers in the refrigerators. But I told him I didn't care if the stores had filet mignon on sale for $1.95 we were NOT buying any more meat.

My stomach is still quite touchy so supper was potato soup, made with water, and only spice was salt. I had that over a slice of bread. Not bad.

Broiled shrimp, leftover everything else: green bean almondine, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, and dinner rolls.

Shirley, I hope you feel better tomorrow. That stomach stuff sure is going around.

Kathsgrdn, does it seem to you that leftovers grow in the refrigerator overnight? Yours sound good, though. Too bad we aren't all neighbors in real life so we good trade--haha!

DS's Princess is here for a couple days, so they were here for supper. When Maddie is here, EVERYONE knows what we are eating....lol taco's!

White Chili and corn muffins. DS had three bowls. I guess he liked it.

I microwaved one of theose steam in the bag brocolli and mac and cheese. not vey good .

I made some goulash for supper tonight, that and a salad and that was it. Tomorrow I'm making soup, not sure if it will be ham and cabbage or ham and bean, guess I will decide that on the fly.

Leftover prime rib, mashed potatoes, Mexicali corn. It was delicious.

We had leftover prime rib, but not a lot. So I decided to make a prime rib "hash" with potatoes, onions, peppers and garlic plus a big salad and crusty bread. It was perfect!
