I ordered one from Carol Wright gifts (20% off)

it came with the bottom shaper too.

i haven't tried it yet Does anyone else have one?

I liked the TV Commercials for it.

You step into it and pull it up

I hope I can manage it

Scarlett, I fell for the same infomercial. The thing is very difficult to get on or off. The fabric is uncomfortable to me, and I agree...claustrophobic feeling. Wish I had returned mine and gotten my money back but I waited too long.

I recently bought a Spanx to wear under my Mother of the Bride dress to smooth out any bulges. Oddly enough, I looked thicker through the waist when wearing it! Then it occured to me that the Spanx constricts me so much that I can't suck my tummy in at all. I realized that I actually must be in the habit of keeping my tummy held in when I'm standing or walking. When I put the dress back on without the Spanx and simply tucked in my tummy, I looked slimmer around the waist than when I was wearing the Spanx. So I guess Spanx just isn't for me.

I did the panty girdle thing when it was expected back in the early sixties. Didn't matter than if you were 85 lbs. A properly dressed young lady wore them. I remember struggling back into them after gym class. We did everything we could to hide them under our shorts and even under our towels in the shower to avoid having to pull those things back on. Panty hose came along, a bit of jiggle became ok and we all tossed our girdles away. I don't care what you rename them today.Spanx,shapers whatever. They're GIRDLES.

Google Kymaro body shaper and you get lots of complaint links.
They sell the same type of garments at stores like Kohls and Target. I saw some yesterday at 25% off. (I think like $35 retail area).

I just repackaged it to return .
There is no give to the material. I couldn't even pull it oevr my thighs., much less my butt etc. If you can find one locally be sure you can try it on first.

And I'm from the old Playtex Panty girdle days.

Me too. Wore them every day to school in Jr. High. Back then all girls wore them even if you only weighed 90 lbs. "Nice girls didn't jiggle".LOL

Pantyhose came around a couple of years later. Freedom! Having lived through that era I don't understand why anyone would ever go back to it. They can call them bodyshapers,smoothers or whatever but they are still GIRDLES! Cheaply made girdles but girdles non the less.

The only people they look good on are young women fit enough to not really need them.
