They say to serve at room temp. I know it's hard to do. Take out of refrig about a half hour before serving.

In the meantime, keep it well wrapped in the refrig to protect the ham from "picking." If you know what I mean. :-)

In case the previous post was really clear. It is fully cooked already. Either serve it cold, allow to come to room temp, or just slightly warm it in the microwave.

Honey Baked Ham advises not to warm it up in the oven or try to cook it as it is real easy to dry it out since the meat is already fully cooked and sliced. They say theirs is best served from the refrigerator.

If you do warm it, do it slowly and for just a little while so you don't dry it out.

Oh I love Honey Baked Hams, I'd be sneaking litle pieces of it by now!

My husband bought me a spiral cut honey baked ham one year for Christmas. It was so big-I cut it in four pieces and used one at a time. Just wrapped in foil and heated in the oven. And the leftovers were great for sandwiches.

I buy a honeybaked ham two to three times a year. I put the slices on tray (with a drizzle of its sweet glaze on top) and let it sit out for an hour or so before serving.

I pick mine up tomorrow and it's going to be hard not sneaking a piece until Thursday :)

I have worked for the Honey baked ham co for more than 10 years. DO NOT, DO NOT cook it in any way. bring out about 30min to an hour before you want to serve and ENJOY. if this is your first taste of a honey baked ham...you are in for a treat and this won't be your last. you can freeze for thrity days without loss of texture /flavor. let me hear from you after you eat yours.

I'm picking up ours tomorrow...a present from MIL...I wont be able to NOT sneak a piece...it's just too darned good and then I buy their bean soup box and add some more beans to it and we have bean soup with the bone and remaining ham!!
