Usually sausage links and scrambled eggs, with orange juice and coffee for breakfast - around 10 AM.

I serve the Holiday meal sometime between 3 and 4, with hot and cold appetizers set out maybe an hour before.....so, no need for lunch.

I used to do the big Christmas Breakfast thing--but it really got to be too much. This year, we're going to DD's for breakfast, and will be having bagels and baked apples.

Christmas Eve is the one night of the year that my husband cooks dinner. That means we're limited to either pita pizzas or hot turkey sandwiches. This year it's the hot turkey--he'll be accompanying it with Stove Top, and Tater Tots. Hey, it's okay with me to have a night off in the kitchen.

Our Christmas dinner, at my sister's will be around 2 o'clock. Generally, there's no need to worry about supper on Christmas--everyone's usually too gorged to have another meal. And the next day we'll be going to a wedding anyway.

Being as there will be no one here Christmas day, I'm taking to my friend's for their family brunch, scotch eggs.

She's serving, well, her DH is preparing waffles and to go with that canadian bacon, bacon and sausage. My scotch eggs, and her kids are bringing or will be preparing brunch there.

Beforehand we'll have mimosa's as a starter.

No special breakfast here and there is no lunch. We have dinner at 12:30 or 1:00. For supper if we want anything, there will only be the two of us then, we eat leftovers. Having, turkey and ham and all the trimmings.

We're having brunch around 11 and after that it's whatever until dinner. Brunch will be OJ, ham, cheese scrambled egges and biscuits. That oughta' tide him over for a while. ;-)

I cook for DH, myself and the kids. I always make monkey bread in the morning. Kids can open stocking while it bakes. I sprinkle powdered sugar on it and call it snow. Pot roast is our tradition for Christmas dinner, which will be served mid-day, neither lunch nor dinner, around 2:00. In between I put out munchies- crackers, cheeseball, cheese cubes, deviled eggs, grapes, pepperoni... We open under-the-tree gifts while the roast cooks. If they get hungry in the evening, we pull the leftovers out. We end up playing a lot of games and watching some movies, so the rest of the day after the meal is laid back. I like having all the work behind me by then, relax the rest of the day.

I do not have a traditional Christmas Eve meal. Depends on how busy I still am, sometimes it's pizza! ;o) I'm OK this year, so I plan to put a pork roast (actually almost 4 lbs worth) in the crock pot tonight, let it cook all night, shred it up tomorrow dinner. Between that and Christmas day leftovers, we'll eat Sat and Sun, too.

That's my plan. I really do not enjoy all this cooking. If I didn't think it would disappoint DH and kids, I would not do it. I'd find someplace that serves dinner Christmas day and go out! Oh, that would be so much nicer! Make a reservation, we'd all dress up and go out together, no cooking, no clean up. I resent the work, the time it takes to do it compared to the time it takes to consume it... Not worth it. I feel unappreciated.

we're alone christmas breakfast/lunch...so will eat whatever is in the house (i have cinnamon rolls and bacon) light lunch..soup? dinner is big affair at dd2's home we'll meet at 3 with entire family. ham, and pot luck sides are the menu. i'm making bite sized pecan pie-like dessert with purchased cheescake bites and something else. i'm also making dh's fave corn cassarole. dd2 is making cheesey potatoes, 1dil kid friendly mac and cheese (we have 7 grands), 2dil a salad. dd1 is bringing pre dinner dips..no lack of food, lol...

We don't expect anybody here until after 3pm. So, since I love breakfast, it will probably be eggs and rolls of some sort.
I told DH that he has the run of the kitchen for the entire meal for Christmas Eve when every one will be over.
I am not going to even enter the kitchen. And this will be hard for me to do! He is a good cook, and he would rather be the dinnertime hero. Sweet~

No kids here this Christmas, so we are on our own. Today we will go to a movie and then out to dinner. This is a tradition we started when our girls were little. We have also been invited to an open house today and tomorrow, so may enjoy being with some friends and neighbors also. I may not have to cook anything, but I am going to make an apple pie this morning that we can enjoy.

I'll make Monkey Bread and Breakfast Casserole tonight...get up in the morning and put both in the oven...sometimes it's ready before we open gifts or during...we'll munch on that and then have Christmas Honey Baked Ham around 3 or 4...I usually make a Christmas Eve Dinner and then we just eat leftovers Christmas Day but my youngest DS has to work till 7 so we've changed our plans to tomorrow!
