Happy "belated" birthday, Cindee. Your brother is certainly very talented. The washer is certainly a wonderful find, you will have something nobody else has for sure. But I really love the flowers he made for you, they are just darling. I had fun just looking to try to figure out what he had used to make them--very cool. Glad to hear things are looking up for you again, just hang in there long enough and most things do turn around, don't they? I am using the stuff Mary posted, I bought a box of it, it was yrs ago and was like $75/box. I only use it on the outside, it is U shaped not H. I like to use it to harden the outside of panels too, I solder it onto the copper foil around the edges and so it makes it super strong. I bought it off a guy who had his own shop and sold really nice small pcs that he dipped in his own electroplating system.He was mass producing little window things, but I can't seem to make more than a few of the same thing and move on. Now you can get those kinds of things at the dollar stores, made in china, for nuthing! In china and elsewhere they have robots that solder lamps etc and sell for very reasonable.

I don't know how long it took him but I'll ask him in the morning when he gets home from work. I did ask when we went to pick it up and he said "A long time." I didn't know he was up to anything. He plays Texas Holdem poker twice a week with a group of friends and he spent quite a few "texas holdem" nights on this project. I'm not the questioning type of wife I guess. Lol I wish I knew how to reset my date on my camera. I took pictures of my daughters concert last night and those are in 2005 also. Any suggestions?

The patern for the bottoms is from Walmart,2.99 I think. It called for knit for the tops, but I don't sew knits so I bought a pack of little boys tee shirts and used some of the bottom flannel to sew on yo yos with buttons on them...

Those are sooooooooooo cute!! I made my GGS a receiving blanket and burp pads out of that same one with the sheep.Didn't make them any clothes this year,so i guess i'll have to make up for that,you've got me inspired again.TFS
