KT card exchange /Info for Canada

Wow, I've got so many cards and gifts from you guys (mostly gals)!!! It is so nice to get cards in the mail. I have a small family, and I'm shy, not too many friends So it's wonderful to hear from all my buddies at KT.I tape all my cards around the inside frame of my front door, so they become part of my decorations. Even got a couple cards from Canada. My absolute best friend( we've known each other since 6th grade) lives in Ottawa. In case anyone needs this, if you mail cards to Canada from the US, you need to put on 75 cents US postage.

I can't get over that so many people use labels.

Wouldn't it be a pain, having to type each label out and print them?

Can you save the addresses so you don't have to type them out next time?

It is really fun to get cards from all over. Did you get mine too Jannie? I mailed my cards out on or before the fourth of Dec.

I was just asking this morning on the the Facebook KT Group if anyone had seen your post yet, Tami. Thanks, Monica!! It has been so great over the past few years to get cards in the mail nearly every day through the holidays, I really enjoy it. Do you want me to do it this year? We are planning to be on the road for most of October again, but it shouldn't be a problem. If I remember right, the cut off date was just before Thanksgiving, so I could get the list emailed by that weekend. For those new to the KT, you send me an email with your KT name, your real name, and your address. I divide the list into groups, usually about 20 people to a group, depending on how many sign up. You send to those people in your group, then, if you want to send to anyone, or everyone, else, you may do so. You are only required to send to those in your group, though. It's tons of fun! Heather_ONT used to organize it, but had family health problems a few years ago, so I did it that year. Last year, Kathsgarden orgainzed it. Both ladies did a fine job of it. If someone else wants to do it, I won't be offended, either! It can be a bit time comsuming when you first get started, because those of us who have participated before, All jump in with emails right away! I just check my email every day, then copy and paste into a word document. When everyone is signed up, I send out the list to those who have signed up. It was a real treat to open the P O Box this morning! I hadn't been there since last week. I got a big handful. Those that sent something extra, thank you!

Jasdip, it's not a pain to type each name and address. I copy and paste! If I had to write each one, you wouldn't be able to read it by the time I finished. My hands cramp while writing. I did my parent's cards this year again. Instead of making them, I bought them, typed their names in the label program, printed on clear labels, and stuck them on the inside where you would sign your name. I did the same for the addresses and return addresses. Everyone who gets cards from them know their situation, and that I do the cards. They still appreciate that fact that mom & dad want to send cards.

Tami....who still needs to make about 70 more cards to send out!

I doubt if anyone can/could read my writing it is so atocious. I almost flunked 6th grade because of it.

Jasdip, I have the Hallmark Studio. It has an address book and you just click on the name and it prints it off each year. My poor ole arthy hands wouldn't make it.. I send out over 100 cards each year..

I have loved getting the cards, too.

I love getting a mailbox full of cards and knowing that I might have brought a smile to someone's face with my card is just an added bonus! Thanks so much to each of you!
