Is Glenda coming home today?

If so, I hope she's not too tired to check in. Can't wait to hear about her cruise. It's been a slow week at the KT without her interesting/funny posts!

Good wishes for the safety of all in the paths of these storms. It is windy in Tupelo, but nothing more for now. Some areas nearby received quarter sized hail. I have my hidey-hole ready, with a chair, radio and water. The cat plans to join me there if necessary. All of you take care of you. Rosebud

He requested meatloaf, mashed potatoes & roasted zucchini, so that is what I am cooking. I just hope he gets home for dinner. I already have the ground beef in the fridge thawing out..Tomorrow morning I will peel the potatoes a & leave them in water. I will chop off the tough ends of the asparagus. As soon as the meat is thawed out I will mix up the meatloaf.

So glad you enjoyed it. I, too, am preparing it for Mother's Day lunch, with just my son and myself. I do like the white wine vinegar. Did you toast the almonds?
