Thx for the responses. I'm pretty much a homebody due to health issues and do mostly all my shopping online. The internet has been a boon to me. Win 8.1 on an HP. All that's on it (that I can find) are a few games with very limited usage. Then you have to buy or join the gaming group and purchase 'coins' and pay as you play. I've checked Amazon, my #1 go to place. They've so many games, I was weary from wading thru them. Hence the decision to find the three or four I listed. I also have an iPad and have an assortment of word games that I enjoy when I have time. I'll check out the Jigsaw puzzle link. Sheila

Ok that's easy enough. I thought we had a bit more room on that facing wall but I can work with that. I don't like a tv jack that requires submission in decor. Since money isn't an object, (and frankly it's not expensive to do) how about we string cable under the carpet to a different location? Are you totally opposed to that? If you don't do that, you are going to be greeting your guests as they walk into the house with the backs of your furniture, which is both unapealing and heck I think it's also not fungi swayed either (I don't do fung but they do have some good principals). There's also wireless cable...do you have that in your area? I know it's realistic to have TV in your home, so I'm not trying to take that out of the room, but I also think you need to consider that this is the room your guests see first. It sets a tone for the house and should be a primary focus for you, given that you don't have a large entry hall (most homes don't now a days). I didn't draw it in here, but one thing I think is a must is that you should have a small table (round) on the entry landing in front of that long window. Or a globe on a stand, something to break the space from living room and entry mentally and physically. You'll be excited to know that you are now going to become a world class globe collector. I've decided that you either travel, or have always wanted to travel and thus...globes are your passion :) You don't have millions, but you do have some wonderful ones scattered throughout the room you exotic little fool you! Your new style is classy and traditional...if you should choose to accept my design :oP But also incorporates influences from around the world :)

Sometimes you can get thrift store and such to donate some stuff if you explain/ask. Is there a Micheles in town, maybe they would donate supplies. I find when it's for women/child centers, that they aer very helpful! If not, I bet a few of us could send you a lil care pkg!!! Just let me know! I think it would be fun for all of us to send a little something! I have enough "stuff" I just wouldn't miss any!ha! Jane

I don't play many games but I occasionally play Train to fill in a couple minutes. I like Bubble Shooter too but it takes longer to play. BTW, you can download the Bubble Shooter game. Just save the webpage (complete) and grab the file called "bubbleshooter2.swf" out of the folder. I'm not a Windows/Mac person though so can't tell you how to play it offline. I assume something like Adobe Flash Player? How to Play Adobe Flash SWF Files Outside Your Web Browser (Offline I can see it better because I can make it full screen, or at least bigger than it is on the webpage)
