Is it a safe site? DH claims I put too much junk on our computer! LOL I can't download anymore so online is good!

I'm playing one right now...Reincarnation: Uncover the Past. I didn't like them at first, but they grew on me. I liked the adventure type games more, but there aren't too many of those. I had to go out and get a widescreen BIG screen. LOL. I use Big Fish.

I misread. I buy them and download them. I don't play them online.

I own about 40 of them. I still play the free ones for an hour. If I like it I try to find at the store. Will not put my credit card number online for anything. My neighbor and I take turns buying them . Then we switch. I really enjoy them.

We have a few (lots of few) on our computer from Big Fish. I am playing one now called Coyote==fire and water (not sure of the title) Big Fish is a very safe site. One thing that is nice, if you buy the specials, 2.99 or 30% off etc, you can play them, delete them and get them back again if you wish. I keep a log of what we have bought.

O . M . G. !!! I wish I'd never read this post. I downloaded my first Hidden Objects trial game last night and was totally absorbed. Lost an hour of my life that should have been spent elsewhere. Oh, what is to become of me...

I discovered Big Fish Games a few months ago and now my leisure time is spent playing hidden object and adventure games. They are so much more fun than the available television programming. I've had guests staying with me for two weeks, so I will be using the $4.99 Labor Day sale to stock up on the latest offerings! Are there any from the last two weeks that you recommend?

Because of my advanced age, I'd almost forgotten about this post which would have led to a commitment free holiday weekend. :-) Now you all will know I will be playing Hidden Objects instead...sigh

In Return to Ravenhurst you will have to look for items you need to make something work...They might be in the same area or you might find them in two or three areas away. I love the running back and fourth looking for what I need. In one part there is an old elevator that takes you down to a cave under a building...it took me forever to make the elevator go down to the second level. I thought I'd never find the item I needed.

The hidden objects are in "sparkling" areas..sometimes you have to go back and hunt for those area.

I'm still mad at whoever posted the link to the Ricochet game! LOL It is definitely addicting.I told my DD about it and she's hooked too.She couldn't believe I was playing such a "violent" game!LOL

I made it through the parlor door and now I am stuck at the servant quarters..hahahaha. This is soooo much fun. I just can't thank you enough Pattico! Hope the Return to Ravenhearst becomes a free game soon so I can download that one for when I'm done with the first one. A couple friends I sent the link to have cussed me because now they are addicted...lol

Has anyone found more ONLINE games of hidden objects? Please post links - I don't want to download anything - just play online. Gosh, this is FUNNNNNNN!

I so agree Kayjones!!! I have downloaded a couple from Big Fish and so far it is a safe game site. My David checked each download game with his high tech virus checker thingy and they were clean. He said what he could find out about BigFish is all good and they strive to keep the place virus free. I downloaded Ravenhearst but now I'm stuck on the nursery door lock puzzle....that thing is wicked!!! hahahaha What has Pattico started...!!! LOL I am forever grateful to her for putting this post up...I have discovered a new found love from years past when you had to circle the picture page of hidden objects.

I have purchased several. Played all the trials.

If you join BigFish, you pay $6.99 a month for a game credit ... and can then buy any game you want at that price. (except for the Collector's Editions, those cost more) I like to save up a couple months and buy one of the bigger Hidden Object games *and* the STrategy Guide! Yep, the really tricky games like Ravenhurst and Return to Ravenhurst have Strategy Guides that will help you out when you get stuck.

I've been a member 2 or 3 years now and their games are always safe.

Every weekend I download the trial for games that have published in the last week. It's a wonderful feature that allows you to play free for an hour and decide whether the game is one you'd enjoy. I find that many of them are pretty darned lame and glad I didn't waste my $$ on them.

And then there are the ones created in another country, where the storyline and clues are not written by someone whose English is a first language. LOL. Those can be entertaining just deciphering what the meaning is. (A peg turned out to be a clothespin).

Oh, and BigFish has forums too ... where users can go to discuss a particular game and get assistance.

To tell the truth, I am nearly stone blind from searching for objects! LOL

One thing that helps me a lot is a big magnifying glass, that I keep by my computer - it helps me find those 'hazy' objects.

At Big Fish the 2.99 game called The Serpent of Isis is a FUN game. I bought it and finished it in a couple days. I have to make myself stick to my "alloted" time playing my games. LOL

There are some good hidden object games at Shockwave. I don't know what's available, because I pay membership, which gives me access to all the games. They also have some great word games.
