One thing my guys love are the shoe shine buffer sponges I get at Dollar Tree. It's not shoe polish but can make shoes, purses, briefcase, etc. really look good.

For my girls, low cut socks and make up items,wipes with self-tanning lotion, other small cosmetic items, gift certificates to their favorite stores.

Gas cards were always a hit with my teens.
Thats about the only thing I didn't see mentioned!

Deck of cards - I had a hit one year with the cards featuring the "original six" hockey arenas on the front of them.

Waterproof matches - ya just never know when you are going to need them. LOL

Nail clippers - guys are always asking me if I have nail clippers for some reason. LOL

Kindereggs - they are always a big hit with the young (over 5) and old (young at heart).

When they are at home they get something like a juice box and wrapped pastry/poptart sticking out of the top (this was tradition after the youngest was about 6, they were allowed to have their stocking without getting the adults up, breakfast was included!)If I am mailing the stockings I skip the "juicebox"
