Well, for brunch I'm making an omelete. The innards are cooking now: bell pepper, onion and mushrooms. I made enough so I could have it ready for tomorrow morning too. The kids won't touch one of my omeletes, they don't know what they're missing. Oh, well....

Dinner, I have no idea. I have ground beef out in the fridge, though.

Breakfast was yogurt, a banana and some cereal. Lunch, who know? Dinner, DH is making turkry tetrazzini from the last turkey leg from Thanksgiving. It was frozen, so we won't be getting food poisoning.

I'm getting ready to toast a bagel now, I don't have a clue yet what I'll be making for dinner.

Mashed potatoes...applesauce and I hope dumplings.They're also from PA,so some good Northern Food! Yum!

Well, Alex decided to have an omelete, without the cheese, of course.

I made sausage, egg and cheese tacos for breakfast and will snack around for lunch. Jammer will be home for dinner so I'm trying to decide whether to cook a roast or pork chops.

Probably an egg sandwich, or maybe peanut butter!

I guess I will have steak. I put one down to thaw yesterday.

I had to fight myself to keep from going to the breakfast buffet in a nearby town. They have great food and everything you can possibly think of...including waffles and pancakes, omelets, and eggs cooked to order. Even fajitas. I am not much of a breakfast person, but they have very good pork chops and biscuits and gravy. Told myself I have too much to do and if I get up early, I can go tomorrow.

Pork roast, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. Thanks for the Brunswick stew idea. We just love it and need to make up a big pot for the freezer. That sure sounds good!

I think I'll make chicken penne alfredo.

Chicken piccante

Roast chicken, potatoes, carrots and fried cauliflower.

We are having leftover lemon chicken, rice and spinach casserole.

So far it was eggs, avocado, spicy sausage and Cornmeal Blueberry pancakes...now sipping coffee...

I have to do something with 2lbs of ground beef and 3lbs of chicken drummies...one was to be used yesterday..but we went out for a late lunch....and I didn't feel like doing no dinner at 5 when we got home...LOL

I have 3 batches of cut out cookies to cut and bake, some bread to bake (just have to figure out what kind) and possibly some chocolate cupcakes for the guys lunches this week.

Today for "dinner" as we southerner's say....we had all comfort food! Fattening comfort food! My hips are still dancing a gig! Crockpot (simmered all night) mixed pinto beans, mac & cheese and spinach, with country cornbread or warm biscuits...whichever you'd prefer...pull up a chair and dig in! We'll probably have plenty of leftovers for "supper" too! Now who took my slice of onion!

I have on a pot of pinto beans with smoked turkey thighs, ham and a chile pepper in the crock pot. I will serve with steamed rice, flour tortillas and a tomato salad. I still have tomatoes from my garden!

I made a chicken dish simmered in V-8 juice and rum; mashed potatoes, boiled cabbage and apple crisp for dessert

Chicken and stuffing

Chicken breasts, rice pilaf, and lettuce/tomato salad with balsmic vinegar dressing. No dessert or iced tea tonight.:(

My Mom's meatloaf, mashed potatoes, baby carrots and banana choc. chip cake for dessert.

I was stormed in and couldn't get out, a 4 foot drift blocking the front door and went all the way across the driveway...so selection was easy after baking cookies and wrapping carmels and making toffee....hamburgers and french fries!
