Howdy Kt! Been working the last three days. Not too bad until last night when I was getting ready to give report. Why does all heck break out at the most inconvenient time? Ended up staying a little late.

Grammahony, I got the ornaments you sent for the swap. Thanks so much! I especially like the one your mom made. Will post a pic in a few minutes.

Today is my dad's birthday, I think he's 78 today. I'm going to wait till noon and call him. He's out West and I don't want to wake him up, even though I'm pretty sure he's probably already awake by now.

Lauren has a band concert tonight, her father got her some reindeer antlers to wear since it's a Christmas concert...errr, rather "Holiday" concert. I just looked at the paper from the teacher.

I've gained three pounds back from what I lost the last few months. I quit walking because I was having trouble breathing. Going to start back today.

I finally finished The Secret Life of Bees on CD and will be sending it soon to Bunnylover, the next person on the list. If Mickey15 is reading this, I really enjoyed the book and even Lauren got into it when she was riding in the car to the store with me. The woman reading the part of Lily was perfect for her.

Good morning Kath. I'm at work this morning, I'm back after being off for 1 1/2 years. Seems like I never left, but getting up can be tough some days. Once I'm here, I'm fine.

Took my DD to the airport yesterday, as she had to go to Chicago for work. She will be back later this week though.

Nothing else is new..except I'm behind on my baking. Can't do any tonight, as I'm going out to dinner with friends.

Susan, what kind of work do you do? Glad you're liking having gone back.

I called my dad and he's doing good. He gets up at 6 am...so I don't think I'll ever have to worry about waking him up. I told him next year I'll just call whenever since there's no risk in me getting up too early on a day off. He laughed and said I was being pretty optomistic that he would even be around next year to call-lol.

I only have experience with Heavenly Blue MG's and they did not do well in a pot. They did indeed insist on climbing and then I think they just ran out of root space because they suddenly stopped growing and flowering.

Good morning! I've been out w/ one of my BFFs. We went to Kohl's and the mall. I love Kohl's. I bought 2 boxes of Christmas cards and 2 new hand towels and it was all $9. My kind of prices! 'Course everything was on sale and I had a coupon, but if you can't find it at Kohl's, you don't need it. Went to lunch at a new place and it wasn't great. Couldn't believe how crowded the mall was on a Monday!! It's finally cold in Tyler, Tx. Ya'll have a good day.

Kath, I'm a social assistance administrator. Even though legislation changed while I was off, I caught up pretty quick.
Sounds like your dad has a great sense of humour. I can picture my dad saying something like that.

Just turned the puter back on. Our electric did a lot of fluttering earlier, and we turned it off.

I am about to put more pictures on my photo point site, we ventured out, and took damage pics.

Lost the big tree near the front door, that we wanted to take out anyway. We should have plenty of firewood next winter. :)
