Ruthie, even just go for a ride in the car in the sunshine if you can. It makes you feel so much better! Today is cloudy, cold and possible snow showers in north central Ohio. Yesterday, we had beautiful sunshine, so DH, who is off work until the 5th, went for a ride. Yes, we went shopping at Camping World, but that is an hour and a half ride! One way. So we enjoyed the sunshine.

Today, DS works, so in about half an hour I'll have to take him. Other than that, who knows? I'll pick him up at 8.

My husband just went back to the tow boat, and plans to work over, so may not be home for a month. Yesterday, I got all the running caught up, so I feel very free today. I will have to go out and buy horse feed and to the storage unit and pick up a little more catfood, but my plans for today are to stay home as long as possible and just piddle around the place. It was cold (to me) when I got up this morning, but is 61* now and feels perfect to be outside, so going to do a little yard work. I've been filling the bird feeders and went for a walk with the cats and dogs. So...in other words, I'm not doing much...mainly relaxing.

However, I offered to take a cat that the shelter has...owner was going to put him down because he is an outside cat where she worked, and she was told to bring him home and he won't adjust to being an inside cat. I told them I would take him...so there is a possibility that I may have to go to Galveston to pick him up.

Hope you do get out for at least a drive. Be careful and don't get around too many people and pick up a cold or something.

I'm south of Tami here in Ohio and still enjoying sunshine. I'm really enjoying it as the weatherman says it will become increasingly cloudy this afternoon. As soon as I have my lunch, I'm heading out to the Home to visit with Annie, my special needs sister. I haven't been to see her for over a week.....quarantined for a stomach bug out there. Another sister and I are going to go through her closet/drawers today. We do this 2 or 3 times a year, to see what she now needs clothing wise, and to toss what needs to be tossed. After that I have to go pick up some items at the grocery store.

I hope all enjoy their day today.

sun's gone...went to sam's and bought the calender that i like.. poor dh got the wrong one...we're supposed to get more snow (oh joy) sure hope the last customers that have no power get it back before the next storm.

i havn't a clue how the back east folks went so long, or our forefathers did it...at least they had fireplaces...

I'm relaxing in the house while Jammer and his son are tilling the garden. We need it ready to start planting on Valentine's Day.

Later we are going to my DS and DIL's house to watch the pool builders work. DIL said it's getting really interesting. LOL

It's 63° right now, but should reach 70° by mid afternoon. Lots of lovely sunshine.

My day will include an excursion to Costco.

I saved up my pennies for a long time to buy a new TV, and bought it on Thursday.

Then Saturday the new Costco coupon booklet arrived in the mail. That same set will be $300 cheaper on Jan. 5th. We hadn't set it up yet, so...

I will take my receipt to customer service and see if I'll have to physically bring it back, return it and buy the same thing again next week, or if they will honor the coupon without me doing all that.

I've had good experiences with them, so I hope for the best. (The TV is a huge blessing, and I promise not to complain even if the discount becomes a hassle.)

It's cool but sunny. I may be forced to check out Ross too, 'cause on Tuesday there is a 10% discount if you're 55 or older.

I have been working on floors and cobwebs. I over the kitchen floor 3 times with a mop. Doggie paws!

I have a shopping list a mile long for New Years Dinner, Fireworks and overnight company. I need to buy some new pillows for the guest room. Dogs sneak in there and sleep on the pillows.

I will be cooking until all hours of the night and all day tomorrow.

Hi, Ruthie, here in northern Minnesota, it is snowing and has been since I got up this morning, so I'll not be going anywhere today. I'm hoping it will stop so the roads and our parking lot will get plowed so I can drive DH to the eye Dr tomorrow. He is to be fitted for new glasses after having cataracts removed from both his eyes. Enjoy your nice sunny day, any way you can. Dottie

What a glorious day! Sun is shining brightly - the calm before the storm and the snowfall we are expecting tonight.

I was up early and went out and took care of my neighbours cats and will have to let them back in soon. Once I see them on the porch I know they want back into the house.

I've got some baking to do and I need to get to the store to get some cat food for Chloe. She is all out of canned food. I also need to go to the Liquor Store to get a small bottle of rum to make more rum balls for my friends Patti and Dave.

I also need to wash the 2 sets of flannel sheets I received for Christmas for my new double bed. Now that my sister is going home I can finally sleep in it and be cozy and warm tonight.

I had an appointment with the Opthalmologist at 8:45 a.m., then took advantage of the 75% off sales at Old Pueblo Traders. It's sunny and warm here today, supposed to be in the seventies. Enjoy your day and try to get outside for at least a few minutes. That sunshine is wonderful! Bettye/AZ
