I was trying to figure out a way to make sure I got the cutting without letting on too much that it would be rare. Do you think standing on top of the lawn mower to see in and drooling all over my self was too much, lol. I was so aggravated since I had went there to look at a lawnmower they were selling and my husband said don't be trying to drag home all kinds of junk because these people collect stuff and sell it. Well everything I wanted she said wasn't for sale, lol. I had no need for dog kennels and bird cages and a million weedeaters but I sure did want that brug and some different things she had that I could have used for climbing vines and stuff to make little bog gardens. I sure hope she calls me one day soon and says hey come pick up your cutting. She had also had a Lady Banks rose climbing a full grown tree that was over 20 feet tall. That was amazing! I had been sitting at work going should I say anything about the brug or not, lol. I hope she knows what she is talking about. I will share with all of you if it is, lol.

Ok, I just took my daily walk to the mailbox..and OMG, it was FULL !!!!! It is going to take me all day to open them all...you all are just too kind to me !! I thought I was giving, and WOW am I receiving. Yesterday I received a wonderful package from retsec, she sent me a PLANT ! of Candy Apple Ice Plant, and some bulbs, and sunflower seeds. I just cant say thank you enough ! I also recd a beautiful Santa card from Jenny, cottageflowers, with some AWESOME seeds...verbascums, which were one of the MOST WANTED on my wish list, and CHOCOLATE salpigloss, which will go so nice in my chocolate garden.. YIPEEEE, and now I have more to open..I am going to take my time and enjoy them..then I will post again. THANKS SOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR MAKING MY SEASON EXTRA SPECIAL !! and to think this is a gift that will just keep giving....AWESOME ! Kym

We don't seem to get together as much as we used to, John, and I miss my friends. Sherry/sheshebop also stopped a couple of weeks ago, she's moved since her husband passed away. She only spent one night, because Elery and I had to leave for Tennessee, his BIL passed away from cancer the day Sherry arrived. So, she spent the night and the next morning she started north for Nancy/wizardnm and we started south. I was sorry to cut that visit short. Annie

Santa came twice to our house too, and we have passed the tradition on. My Grandfather started it saying if everyone behaved and listened over the holidays we would have a second visit on New Year's Eve. Stockings were hung again and everyone went to bed without question, no wanting to stay up late, or excuses of any kind. (was a plot to get kids down before adults had their time I think) Once again, in the morning of New Year's Day there would be an orange, some candy, and more than likely that one gift that you really wanted from Santa and didn't get Christmas morning waiting for you. Still it made for some very happy kids and great memories spending Christmas with the grand parents.
