I have let a few plants get a bit out of control this year as I have been so busy with work. It was quite a chore just to get everything cleaned up without doing all that pruning and moving I usally do. These guys are getting a bit large: I have yet to remove these clumps of grass from my moss yard I am trying to get going. These Pavonias seem to be doing ok. Kroger had some great looking pots for sale this spring for $10 and less so Naturally I had to get a few and that meant I needed more plants to fill them. One of the combinations I am trying is this Aeonium with some nice sedum for contrast. Lemon Cypress and Fiber Optic Grass go well together also. A cactus received from GGG finally got a home with these sedums and succulents. A pineapple I started last year has set fruit this spring. It makes for an interesting plant for a freebie from Harry's Market. And last but, not least, is this interesting little plant called Huernia Zebrina or Lifesaver Plant. Definately, one of the strangest flowers I have ever seen.

Great cards! I can so relate to how many shots you need to take to get "the one" for your Christmas/holiday card. Before DD started college last year, every year I tried to shoot DD with the dogs. At one point I was shooting 3 dogs with DD. That was fun. Trying to get just one picture that makes the most of all subjects is a tall order. I would shoot about 20 pictures and then view them on the computer. Shoot more, repeat, until DD pronounced "enough already mom". Trying to shoot more would not result in anything better, as DD was sick of posing and the dogs can only eat so many treats in one sitting. LOL This year it will be just the dogs. Glad you started this thread, I need start working on our holiday photo this coming week.

Top two are from Christmas 1973, I was 6 months old. I was between 2 and 4 in the third picture- I LOVED my Little People toys- the hotel even had a bathroom with a toilet seat the flipped up and down, lol. the fourth one is when I was about 8. My Granny made my cousin and I ceramic dolls- I still have mine (packed up since we have been in WV waiting on me to get another cabinet)- my cousin broke hers so I have the one and only and am ever so proud of that doll. My Great-Granny is holding my cousin- Great Granny Ray lived to be almost 102.

Bunnies are the worst. I literally gave them a buffet at a house we used to have in Bowling Green. After that one, we lived in the country and that's when we got cats. Never had a bunny problem. Not even a deer. I think reality is going to hit this spring here at the new house. Lol
