Right now it's flannel pjs and flannel sheets! My pajamas don't have to match......old huge sweatshirts are great!

Short cotton nightgown, can't stand pj's, they get all tangled up. In the winter I wear socks sometimes.

I am not too picky. Last night it was lightweight knit pj's, sometimes it is flannel gowns or night shirts. I have to sleep in something sure would not be comfortable nude.

Me too, Marilyn Sue. I can wear just about anything as long as it's not tight. Lately I'm leaning towards pj's. There are so many cute ones available. Often wear socks for the first 1/2 hour or so because cold sheets chill the feet. Cannot sleep with cold feet.

I wear shorty satin nightgowns all year round, no sleeves. I have an electric blanket that warms the bed and I keep my room cool.

I wear my wrinkly old birthday suit when I'm home.

When I'm not home, I wear either a long night shirt (t shirt) or shirt and pant pjs.

First choice would be my birthday suit but since my two sons still live with me, that's not an option! Jammies of choice are two-piece, lightweight, with a satiny-type feel. Hate nightgowns as they end up around my neck. I've been known to haul out the flannel pj's when it gets cold outside.

I wear pj bottoms & a t shirt & usually a hooded zip front jacket. My pj bottoms range from t-shirt knit to fuzzy ones with a little flannel ones thrown in for good measure. Right now I have on an Auburn shirt my Ireland jacket with flannel bottoms with penguins on them...lol I look a mess, but have house cleaning to do before I get my bath...

I'm a jammy person also and in the winter, drag out the flannels.....I also use flannel sheets and really get a work trying to roll over wearing my PJs....It's like wearing velco against the flannel sheets......

Large tee shirt or tank top in the summer. Fleece PJ's in the window with a tee underneath. My bedroom is kept cold with the window open all year.

No jammies here, either. Another one who keeps the window open all year, with double exhaust fans. Hubby's bedroom is like an oven. Mine is like a freezer. He keeps a towel rolled up outside my door to "keep the frost on your side of the door" LOL

Sweatshirt n sweats pants n socks!

This is fun to see all the different beddytime wear. I forgot to add that I love to wear silk long underwear to bed, too. Never hot, they don't creep up or bunch anywhere.

I'm not at all comfortable sleeping nude....too many brothers in the house. Those slinky silks are the next best thing for me.

Sunny, you made me laugh with your flannel in flannel comment. I'll bet it IS like velcro!

pj's very light and stretchy, preferably capri length with short or no sleeves. If it is really cold I might go with long pants and long shirt but still in the very light and stretchy fabric.
Never a gown, never nada, just not comfy to me.
The bedroom has to have a chill to it, my husband bundles up and in the winter sleeps in sweats or flannels while I shove the covers away he steals them all anyway.

Usually some kind of yoga pants and a tshirt. I can't do nightgowns, has to be pants of some sort. I don't mind flannel pajama bottoms but don't like the tops for the most part.

~I wear short nightgowns. I just need something warm and comfy around my shoulders. You would think a t-shirt would do it but for some reason it just doesn't.

Nothing but a prayer on my lips.

In the very hot months I wear silky 3/4 length nightgowns, but for most of the year I wear fleece nightgowns I am always soooo cold. You'd laugh to see my fake fur sheet topped with my electric blanket and that topped with a doubled fake fur blanket.

V-neck or scoop-neck Tshirt on top and men's (usually Joe Boxer) knit size small pj bottoms, both all cotton knit. Luv it.Nightgowns always choke me by twisting around when I sleep.

I only wear my socks to bed. My feet are always cold but I hate anything else.

We always have the window open unless it is raining. In the winter it is opened about 8-12".

I can't sleep in a hot room

I like to curl up with my cold butt next to my husband. If he is home, I usually don't sleep in anything. If I am home alone, I sleep in some soft material shorts and tee shirt. If it is winter, I sleep in sweat pants and a tee shirt. I need to be ready to jump up at a moment's notice and be dressed, if I am here by myself.

Big loose soft tank tops and underpants year round.

I remember this topic was one of the first I responded to when I started visiting the Kitchen Table, 18 or 20 years ago. I was SHOCKED to discover how many people slept in the nude. My mama must have been a prude - she said I shouldn't ever be nekkid except in the shower. LOL

Light, cotton nightshirt just above the knee, sleeveless. Works well with hot flashes and night sweats.

It varies. A Oaxacan dress or PJs or yoga pants and a tee shirt.

In the summer, it's light cotton pjs in short or capri length with loose sleeveless tops. I wear heavier cotton pjs with long sleeve tops in the winter. PJs usually don't match.

Well most nights it's a shorty baby doll with underwire in it...the girls hang other wise..
I also have a satiny sundress that has smocking at the bodice.. I will wear that..

Sometimes just like Marilyn...my cold butt up against the hubby...but with boys still all around...I like to be some what covered..

I do sometimes fall asleep in tshirt/tank and yoga pants...I have jammie bottoms...but they get all twisty...so those are more lounge wear..

I have a big drawer full of nightwear to chose from. In the summer I usually wear a cotton night shirt that hits me mid thigh. In the spring and fall, I prefer light weight cotton knit jammies that are capri length with short sleeves. In the winter it is heavier cotton knit jammies. This winter I am using my electric mattress pad and a couple of blankets rather than my down comforter. My feet have to stay warm or I can't sleep. I just got some new very soft sheets that I love.

My nightwear is very comfortable. When we go to car shows I always get the XXX large mans shirt. I am about a hundred pounds and 5 feet tall. This makes a great night shirt for me. Sleeves are to my elbows and bottom to my knees.

I haven't worn anything since I was a child --HATE stuff on me when I'm trying to sleep.

I wear men's wife beater tee, that's it. Feels very close to being naked but covers a little .

Flannel pajamas and wool socks. Our house is old, so we don't bother with cranking up the heat at night. I have a microwavable heating pad that warms up my feet, and a thick comforter. Very comfy.

right now anything warm!! flannel gown but hated the sleeves so cut them off, lol...have 2 pair of jammies but usually can't stand the bottoms after a while...when we were young and childless, we went natural, lol....

In summer, short sleeve top, with skivvies and usually covered with a sheet.

In winter, p js and flannel sheets, with about three blankets, as I keep the house chilly (about 5 layers when walking around or sitting) but don't have windows open.

In a rut, I guess, as I usually sleep in pretty well the same position.

If you have several blankets, could you maybe roll back and forth when you start, so that they form something of a tube, and could you then change position inside the tube without getting all tangled up, do you figure?

Cotton nitegowns during the spring and summer and cotton flannel nightgowns in the winter.I like my nighties to come to the middle of my calf at least,and no shorter.

Have been thinking about just wearing some of my old sweats this winter since my flannels gowns are on their last days of wear.

This time of year means serious nightwear.

I start with flannel sheets and pillowcases and several thick blankets (fleece, plush, and thermal weave) and/or quilts. Then I add Harry the Perfect and a long-suffering DH.

For my actual jammies I start with a base layer of cotton thermals, always the bottoms and sometimes the tops, too. Then I add soft cotton socks, and a flannel or fleece nightgown. As the temps drop even lower I add cotton gloves and a fleece headwrap. I plan on sewing a fleece "night cap" and "sleep sock" this winter.

My winter "look" is something else. But I'm cozy!

I have to argue with myself every morning. Take off all the layers - even the thermals! - shower and start all over with fresh thermals.

Caroline, how cold does it get in your home? Brrrrrr. I can only imagine how terrible it must feel to peel off the layers in the morning, lol.

A short sleeve night shirt most of the time. I have a couple of long sleeve ones & some pi's that I wear when DH is on a business trip or just to lounge around sometimes. DH is like a heater-he basically radiates heat. We let the temps drop a lot at night in the house but even cold-natured me can't wear anything very warm next to him. I can be wearing sweats before bed because I'm cold & then change into a short sleeve night shirt for bed. It's kind of weird. I always wear fuzzy socks (in bed & out) because my feet are almost always cold. I can't wear long nightgowns. I've tried them & they always end up tangled around me (like the covers).

Never pj's for me. Gowns of any type. short or long,cotton or flannel. I'm always cold. Never naked. My grandchildren might want to climb in our bed.

Vermont Country Store has really nice flannel sheets. So soft and comfy and warm. Loved sleeping on them last Winter, but this year it hasn't been cold enough to need them. And if you don't wear jammies or nighties, you won't stick to them when you roll over. :-)

Nightgowns made of cotton knit is my preference.

I wear a man's large white cotton-tee shirt as a nightgown. I also use a spare cotton-tee shirt as a towel after I wash my hair. So I get double duty from these tee shirts!

I don't like flannel for anything except dust rags. Flannel sticks and does not move with me. I sleep in cotton knit pj's. Since it is winter I sleep in pj bottoms and a short nighty with long sleeves, all mismatched.
