Not what do you wear, instead: How do you wear jewelry?
Comments (17)As I matter of fact I do wear jewelry differently at my 2 homes! I can't stand cold metal touching me so I don't wear necklaces in the winter (from Nov to about March) at my regular home. And I wear one particular pair of earring almost all winter because they dangle but not long enough to touch my skin. Some of the longer ones end up touching my neck from my scarves & bulky coat so I avoid those. It's crazy but cold metal just sends a chill right through me and makes me feel colder. Since it's warmer in HHI, I do wear necklaces & earrings and even bracelets. I usually bring a few down with me so that I can have some variety. One necklace at a time, if it's bold than the earrings are smaller. One bracelet at a time and it depends on my sleeve length. In both places, I occasionally wear rings when I remember them. Your comments about gold & blue reminds me that I have an 18k gold ring with a lapis lazuli stone. I should dig that out and start wearing it again....See MoreDo you feel you wear the correct style clothes for your age
Comments (37)I work in a high-tech company where most everyone is in their 20s and 30s. I'm a good 15 years older than anyone in my graphics team, including my manager. Ouch. As such, I really try not to dress in anything that might draw attention to my age. I try to be current without being trendy. And because I work closely with the officers and upper management of the company I have to look professional at all times. This means sensible tops, jackets, jewelry, slacks and pumps except on Casual Fridays when I wear a nice pair of jeans and a sweater or comfortable top. T-shirts are not allowed in our group, even though we are considered the "artsy, creative" kind who often throw caution to the wind when it comes to fashion. Comments (41)Patti I find that the professional pedi last a very long time, many weeks so is really worth it, plus the massage and pampering are wonderful. I have never mastered the art of polish if I do it you would think a blindfolded chimpanzee did it.... it ain't pretty! The pros make it look so simple and easy and fast. I have been waiting for my broken toe nail to grow out before getting one but I donâÂÂt think I can wait until then. I have no idea how I managed to damage my big toe nail but I did, I hope it doesn't grow in all funky looking....See MoreGot some Sloggers...
Comments (48)Glad to see this post come around again; just the other day, I thought to myself, I need to post an update. I am still wearing the SAME two pair of Sloggers that I purchased in June and July of 2016! I cannot speak highly enough of these gardening shoes. They are quality, quality, quality. I not only wear them in the garden, I wear them to run errands any time the forecast is for heavy rain. (Why ruin a good pair of shoes?) I have worn these to death and every part of these shoes is perfectly intact. I will say, I do have two identical pair, and I do spread the wear out evenly between the two pairs... but I am still most impressed with the useful life. I wear one pair or the other for some part of almost every single day. If and when they ever do give way, I will replace them with another pair of Sloggers. Hope all is well in your gardens and your lives! Carol in Jacksonville...See MoreRelated Professionals
