Last night I went to visit a lady I'm just getting to know. Our boys went to the same high school, and played some basketball together, although my son is older. She and I have a lot in common.

I watched a movie called "The Memory Keeper's Daughter". It was surprisingly good although I headed for the tissue box when it was over.

I sewed the border on a quilt and transcribed names for a genealogy webpage.

I worked on scrapbooks and watched The Secret Millionaire, or whatever it's called.

Linda

Sat and watched a bit of TV, while knitting on the sweater I am making for my daughter Ulrike.

Moni

Was invited to a neighbour's in our building for a Christmas drink.
Another neighbour came over when we got home and wanted to take us out for breakfast in return for us helping her with her computer. She often knocks on our door and doesn't know how to do things, or wonders if the emails she gets are legitimate, and is just not good with computers....

Dinner with Dad & my sister at the nursing home. Each month they celebrate all residents who have a birthday that month. They each are allowed two guests. Steak or salmon instead of the usual slop.

I worked 4:00 to 9:00, then stopped at the supermarket. Got home at 10:30 . . . fed and walked dogs, etc.

Watched 2 tv shows, played Wii, surfed the net.

I did the same thing as Linda! Worked on a scrapbook and watched the Secret Millionaire.

We watched a movie, "Invincible", about Vince Papale, a 30 year old bartender who tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles and made the team and played for 3 years in the late 70's, early 80's. It was a pretty good movie, a lot of angst and gloom and doom in the old neighborhood, but still uplifting in the end.

I put up the greenery and lights on the fireplace mantle, made pizza for dinner, painted some ornaments for co-workers, and watched a little TV (a very little).

Helped grandson with his homework, then collapsed on the sofa to watch last week's Top Chef, and this week's Top Chef. Took a shower to wash the brick dust off me (we dismantled the fireplace, mantle, and hearth to remodel it for a free-standing wood burning Jotul stove, I bet we moved 2 tons of brick and mortar from downstairs to upstairs and out to the dumptruck). Checked my e-mail, watched the news and collapsed into bed!! I am soooo sore this morning!!

went to prayer meeting

Exactly what I'm doing right now........ played on the computer. And then took a nice hot bath and went to bed.

Played Plinx on Pogo, and watched The Secret Millionaire.
Leslie

Played the bubble shooter game and went on Facebook for a bit. I was trying to make myself get tired enough to sleep but it didn't work. LOL
