No, but I have one up in my craft room that hangs all year 'round. It's a cross-stitched one that took me about 2 years to make so I leave it out all the time, it depicts a sewing room, so it fits right in.

I don't hang them (would if I could), but I give them. When my three kids were all in their teens I said we were giving up the stocking tradition. They protested mightily! So now my oldest is 34, and I give stockings not only to my kids but to their SO's and my future S-I-L's little girls.

One for each family member and spouse/SO (SO don't get the needlepoint ones until they ARE a member) Then one for each animal in the families! I told the kids that the animals would have to go away when I finally have granbabies!!! LOL

He doesn't (didn't back then, don't know how things changed there) have anything to do with Christmas.

Yes, I just hung them last night. There are 6. One for DH, me, Zachery, Nathan, Stanley the dog & Baby the cat. :)

I filled 3 for my kids every year. I did a gift bag along the stocking lines for a year or two after the GB's were born.
Now its just the GB's that get the stockings!
They are hung on my old ladder, since we don't have a mantel or anywhere else to put them.

I have stocking hangers and hang DD's and Kobi's (our dog) on our entertainment center. We have a real mantle, but keep a hot fire and don't want to take a chance on catching one on fire.

The cats have little stockings that I suction cup to my curio cabinet.

I usually hang 2 for my 2 youngest sons, but guess I should add a few more this year.

I have 3 hanging right now - mine, Loki's and a small felt stocking she made at one of Alzheimer Day Away classes. My sister's will be added on Christmas Eve.

I still have all the nail holes on the mantle from my 6 other siblings. Back then we used socks and I remember going into the sock drawer and bringing out one of my sister Lizzie's thigh high socks. Then when I was 11 or 12 my Mom took us over to Hudsons and got Paul and I a real Christmas stocking which I hung until Loki tore it up 3 years ago. When Paul filled my stocking the year after Loki ate my stocking Paul went up into the attic and used one of the argyle socks that my Grandma had knitted for my Dad. That made me smile and brought back so many memories.

I used to. But now with all the GK's I don't. I have a mantle, but I line my Christmas cards on it. Since I'm in the Christmas card exchange, I've added a little red sleigh to hold some as well.

Yes -- one each for hubs and for me. Mine is the one I've had ever since I was a child, and hubs' is the one his grandmother made for him when he was a child. We hang them from the mantle of the family room fireplace. This year, though, I may hang additional stockings from the mantle of the master bedroom fireplace, because I'm going to decorate the master bedroom more this year than usual.

I take them to DD's house because we're always there for Christmas. I have stockings for DD, DS, their spouses and the 5 grandkids , even the oldest in the Navy. DD does stockings for me and DH.

Yes...one for DH, one for DS, and one for me. The dog and 2 cats share one. A very large one ;o)
