Karen, I once asked you how you got your colors so vivid and you told me that a UV filter (I think) helps. Do you use a UV filter on all your shots, outdoor only, indoor only. You also have a great camera, which I don't, cant justify that kind of expenditure for the amount of photos I take, but I'd like the few I do take to be the best they can be. Mare

Hmmmmm, I don't remember saying that a UV filter would help. Maybe I said a polarizer filter would help. I use a polarizer filter every now and then on sunny days. It cuts down the glare. I don't use a UV filter at all. I think getting the exposure right will help with vivid, true to life colours.

Thanks Karen, I guess my memory is playing tricks on me again. It would be nice to be able to have pictures look like yours with just the addition of a filter. Oh well, wishful thinking. You take great photos. I look fwd to seeing them every day. Mare
